Roma Italian Restaurant in Sunderland

Great service, great food. Finally someone who understands how to cook a steak. Properly rested after cooking so that although rare, it doesn't bleed all over your plate. Definitely be back.

Was very good , food was fine ,service satisfactory all good , would go back without hesitation.

Had meal with 22 friends. Service was quick and all got served together. Food was hot and tasty. The staff were sooooo nice and friendly and attentive. Booked up again . Reasonably priced and good portions . Could not eat all mine so got doggy bag to take home. Looking forward to my lunch tomorrow!!!!

Great place everytime we go and there is about 25 of us they always deliver excellent food

My my my... words can't express how much I love this place! Food is spectacular with amazing prices.. service was lovely with the very attentive and sweet old waiter.. i watched the other big table got served and the waiters&waitresses performing a live happy birthday song with tambourines and sing for them! The waiter is so gentleman and helps ladies with coats and pull out chairs for us ❤️❤️ definitely go here , and get a fabulous night !

Amazing (and I mean amazing!) food. They restaurant was not too big but big enough to cater for 7 of us with short notice. The staff were super friendly, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Definitely visiting again! Thank you!

Great food and great service! 100% would recommend

Lovely food and service.

Lovely little restaurant, but very squashy when big tables are in. One of the waiter's mistakingly gave me a alcoholic drink claiming it was a coke, which I nearly gave to my child before I tasted it. Luckily I did taste it as it could have been a lot worse. Food a little bland for me. Good selection of food but unless you want to be served larger out of a can and cheap versions of dissaronno I'd say the drink selection is poor. Apart from the young lad and the drink mix up the rest of the staff are lovely.

Absolutely amazing food and the staff went above and beyond. Managed to squeeze us in without booking this week despite them being pretty full due to eat out to help out scheme, yet kept safety and distancing procedures up. The staff was really friendly and helpful, we went twice this week and will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area
