Spice One in Sunderland

Little bit of false advertising on the menu apparently when a meal states "served with chips" this means its not 🤷‍♀️

Food came on time but was cold. Bhuna prawn had no taste and the chicken korma which was also cold was like chicken lumps in soup. So watery. Not a nice meal.

Lovely food tonight, on time and all red hot..was delish...only 3 places I order from and this is 1 of them!

The first but certainly not the last time we have ordered from here. Absolutely outstanding. Delivered quick and piping hot. Cooked beautifully, huge pieces of melt in the mouth chicken in the dishes. Very reasonably priced especially for the quality of the food.

The best Indian in Sunderland by far. Staff are lovely and delivery driver is lovely. Food is amazing and always comes with the time they say and is always hot. Food is really tasty and you get plenty of it. The tikka chicken main is huge. Its well worth the money. Highly recommend spice one. Everything ive had from here is very tasty. Even the rice is amazing (veg pila). Shrilanka curry is the best. Going to try tandoori King prawns next. But yes highly recommen this place, infact food was so nice we rang the shop up to thank them and let them know we really enjoyed it.

Beautiful food, super fast delivery, foods always nice and hot. Only place we go to for great Indian food. Definitely recommend

Food was 2.5 hours late and wasn’t delivered dim a safe manner - driver had no mask on and did not socially distance. Food was cold when it arrived, curry was gloopy and it was not enjoyable. Not sure why it took so long because the curry definitely didn’t taste fresh. We used to be loyal customers but the way we have been treated tonight means we will NEVER return.

We order there for first time , and absolutely LAST TIME , food is terrible!!!! The Chicken ( which they call chicken tikka) was not well cooked, still raw , inside!!! Karachi gost, was some thick water 💧 and naan was sweet .. the worse indian takeaway 😫!!!!!!

Food is perfect every time, but it's normally a 2 hour wait for delivery, if they could get the delivery times faster then it would be perfect.

Been going here for years now and it is by far the best indians. The staff are so friendly and the food is perfect every time.
