Subway in Sunderland

Only one poor employee running around like a headless chicken in the store trying to serve everyone on a jubilee day whilst there’s an Ed Sheeran concert also. Queue was out the door was manic. Management of that store needs sorting out if they think it is acceptable for 1 person to manage all of that it’s actually appalling.

Terrible ! Cash only apparently ! Next to no sandwich fillings, no vegan options, used the same knife to cut a meat and a vegan sandwich, had to ask the staff to change gloves between meat and vegan sandwiches. Once I’d finally got our sandwiches the bread was rock hard, had to throw parts of them away, a joke when you spend £20.

It tasted like a subway, Last minute substitute yo a proper lunch.

Staff are absolutely pathetic lifeless and just overall uninviting, making a sandwich there is a joke that I could laugh about they have little to know ingredients don’t care about the sand which once it’s in the oven toasting leaving it to burn and then serving it broken apart because is snapped with how dry it is, they also have no sauces and no main salad ingredients.It’s safe to say I will never return as I wouldn’t even feed my dog this meal

First time visiting this particular Subway. Ordered my favourite - Mega meat sub. This was the best version of my favourite I've ever had. Filling could barely fit in the sub. And woman working there charged me price for one foot long sub rather than two individual 6 inch. Great customer service, friendly member of staff and great food.

No knives and forks for salads for third visit in a row, so got a sandwich and needed a knife and fork to eat it as the filling was not in the sandwich - thrown together. Sauce sprayed on wrapping but not on sandwich!

Wish they weren't single manning all the time. Appreciate it's hard times for businesses at the moment but just close if you can't afford 2 staff. The wait can be insane and the poor lad on his own last time... I wonder how he has time to use the loo when it's hours upon hours of back to back queuing. It's not safe either, especially in Sunderland. Food always excellent

Yeah used to like going into subway thiught u got what uu wanted uve noticed service slow b cos of new staff not really into communication towards the buyer and notice prices have got up may go back dont know

Not as fresh as it should have been. Prob using yesterday's produce. Would I have been served this of I had been from head office?I was processed rather than served. No other customers waiting so no excuse for lack of service.Don't know if the staff member's wolly outdoor scarf was brand standard either.

This subway is clearly under staffed. There was only one lad who was working behind the til when I arrived for a sandwich in a sunday afternoon.It was evident the lad tried his hardest but was very slow and I noticed a good number of customers leave due to the time it took him to process orders. Further to this, the portion size provided was minimal in contrast to other subways.
