Staff were incompetent had two people taking us to a table in two different directions. My grandma is highly gluten intolerant and made this clear to multiple members of staff. The chef in full view touched gluten based food before touching hers. The staff then pleaded his case when this was brought up and didn't even offer to refire the food. This is a few of several mishaps whilst we were there but I don't have an hour to write them all down. Such a shame as food was nice but I felt like I visited a circus tonight not a restaraunt won't be back!

All I can say is wow the food is amazing staff are friendly I would definitely come back. They deserve to be at least one. Maybe even three. mitchelin star restaurant. Next time we will be ordering the 100 pound gold plated steak. Shared of course. If you are looking for super quality with excellent service, then there is no better.

Heard a lot about this place so decided to try it out. Tables close to each other, bit cramped. The place was rather noisy but then again it is a pub. Great choice on the menu but expensive, restaurant prices for pub dinning. The meal was nice but tasted better at a lot cheaper. The service was fantastic, nothing too much bother. Marks out of 10 for the whole experience, 7. Would I return? Not in the near future.

Booked for 16 of us to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. Although some steak dishes seemed expensive I felt that the menu offered a good choice to suit all budgets. Booking was easy and pre ordering ensured everyone got meals together and in a timely fashion. The only niggle was that I'd been told the table would be a long table for 16 but on the night we were given 5 separate tables. However, the staff quickly rearranged the tables to our liking so not a problem. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was superb, everyone was extremely impressed. We weren't hurried had a fantastic evening. Thanks to all the staff. I would definitely recommend 👌

Such a huge disappointment from start to finish with an absolutely ridiculous over priced menu. I paid the £78 bill however I would definitely not return. The mussels were swimming in what I can only describe as a milky soup no flavour with dead mussels as garnish £8.The prawns all 3 of them came with a teaspoon of lettuce and some sort of under seasoned dressing £9. Two steaks which were supposed to be 10oz came out looking like they had left 4 oz of it in the kitchen. And over priced £18 and £24 they were however cooked well and that was about it really. Awful chips a soggy onion bread with cold tomato and tomato stew absolutely rank. Our peppercorn sauce £3 seemed like a packet powder with a tablespoon of cracked pepper. Scorched your throat. Had to say the coors lager was ok however we were charged for 4 drinks and only had 3.A verbal description of a diane sauce was it's like a mushroomy type of sauce. At these prices this restaurant is definitely trying to punch above its weight and is a place of which I would never recommend. The only real nice thing was the style of the main course plate when empty.

Chose this place pretty much last minute birthday celebration for 4 but still got in. I think we were lucky as it was so full. Good atmosphere and nice decor. The food, absolutely brilliant. Yes it's a bit pricy for a local pub, but it's well worth it for the quality of food. (£150 for 4 meals with steak and 6 drinks) We all had steak of some variation all of which were enjoyed by all. Our 17 year old got the tomahawk steak, he said its the best meal he's had ever. My pic shows the sharing chateaubriand served medium rare as they suggested, it was perfect.Literally the only thing I could fault was the waitress forgot our sauces as we had to ask. But she was lovely and apologised. I'd say we'll be back sometime soon.

Beautiful from start to finish. No complaints at all. A* service and food. We had the steak board sharer main with medium tomahawk steak and it was fabulous. The desserts were beautiful too, so tasty. This was a treat meal from my son and it really was a treat.

I've had better for less. The table was right in the middle of a lot of traffic and our chairs kept sliding along the floor because of the grease coming out of the kitchen window. Tasty but it could have been better. The wait times were abit long in the tooth as well.

Could not fault our meal at all.Everything freshly cooked, nothing tasted frozen like you find in some big chains.Reasonably priced, cheaper than I have paid for same level of service and quality of meal.Drinks Reasonable, lager quite cheap however coke is on higher end of what you expect to pay but tasted nice not cheap like some places I have been.Staff very friendly and attentive.Everything tasted amazing, will certainly be returning and have recommended to friends, colleagues and family.
