The Cliff in Sunderland

I loved eating here it was great and the staff were amazing

Just exploring the area, and dropped in for a pint to shelter from the rain. I received a warm welcome even though they were very busy. Their Sunday Lunch looked amazing and very popular. Must re-visit and try their food.

Regularly go there for Sunday lunch which is the best in town . great staff great atmosphere and a lovely place to be

Food was excellent. We had a party of 12 people and food all came out together, piping hot and the staff are brilliant too. Cannot fault the cliff at all. Cheers to all the staff for making us so welcome.

Meal was very nice .We had Carvery thoughly enjoyed it good job we booked very busy .

Very good traditional pub food and very generous amount. Only one real ale on tap so one star knocked off.

We booked a table but when we arrived an hour early they we're happy to seat us, the food was perfect as was the service

Great food at realistic prices, the staff are lovely too. I have never had a bad carvary here and I've been several times. The beef was melt in the mouth and the gammon 😍 oh my goodness the gammon was amazing
