Wife's food was hot but my burger was only warm. I had to get my pint topped up as well

It is a very peaceful place. Great chilled atmosphere. Good prices. Staff lovely. I would definitely recommend.

Been here 4 times now and the 4th was the last. The food tonight means I won't go back. You will wait for your food. Tonight I waited over an hour for my food, others who arrived after me were served 10-15 before me. I ordered a large mixed grill, steak rare. The steak was medium if not medium well. The tomato burned, chicken very dry, gammon overcooked, egg undercooked. Would normally have complained there but by this point I wanted to eat and get out.In the 4 visits, I've had 3 long waits for food, but normally the food was ok-good. Tonight, bad. There are other pubs near to this that do quicker service more consistently. Worth trying those, as we will do going forward. One plus to this, bar staff were cracking and very quick with drinks orders. Place was clean, tidy, not that busy, decent atmosphere.

A lovely place to eat offerings traditional pub food at good prices and other dishes too

Good food at good prices for typical pub food. Separate menu for over 60s with a lighter meal for those with a smaller appetite. Only downside is it takes a while for food service but if your not in a rush it's good value for money.

Ordered 2 sizzling skillets. 1 hour 45 minutes later 2 plates turn up, dry as sticks. 2 stars for the Stella, reduced on reflection to 1 for the miserable staff attitudes.

Great pensioners deal. Meal and sweet where fab. Defo going back, cheaper for two to eat than cooking.

Called here for some food and a pint, it was a nice place with a separate sports area with tvs and pool, darts. Food was really nice but the sizzling pubs used to serve the food on skillets as I remember ? Just didn't have the same effect on a normal plate. Apart from my little gripe regarding plates all great 👍

Went for breakfast and was really pleasantly surprised. Never been in before despite only living a few miles away for many years. Lovely clean decor, pleasant staff, quick service and the food was really nice. Each element of the breakfast was good quality and tasty and all was cooked well. Like Arnie says......I will be back haha! Thank you.

Tried to order 3 times but they had none of the food I wanted, ended up costing us double because they had nothing from the lunch menu. Last time I was here the tuna baguette came with barely any filling so it was just like eating dry bread. Waitress with the dark hair who works Thursday lunch/afternoon was lovely. Nice desserts. Overall, not too fussed, would only return here because it is convenient to where I live.
