Excellent location staff are polite and professional good choice of drinks and plenty of places to sit inside and out. Definitely recommend this place

Very nice food. Great service and very quick turnaround. Definitely worth having a look here. Decent variety on the menu to suit all palettes. Used to be a pub I believe but now fully a restaurant with a bar and outside seating. Lovely location right bt the river. Reasonable prices too.

Sunday lunches have got down hill, burnt Yorkshire pudding, burnt roast potatoes, burnt parsnips also the roast beef is a cheap cut, it used to be really nice and would be tender and just fall apart, now you get a small amount and it's tough.When I complained about this, the response was apparently the lunches are always to this standard, which is not case as I've been many times before and they certainly weren't like that!Was more dissapointed as it was fathers day and when you want to go for a nice Sunday lunch on a special day and that's the standard of food and response from staff , I think I'll be looking else where in future for a better service and better Sunday lunch!

Food was delicious. I had the chicken with sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and salad. My husband had chicken and King prawns with chilli & garlic sauce and chips. Both meals were lovely, would recommend.

Friendly staff,.relaxed atmosphere,.met a friend for a mid week catch up and the food was delicious, amazing salad and duck starter.

Avg pasta dish and pizzas. Loved the idea of the steak stone, just not really a light lunch option. Nice staff and environment so may well call back to give the steak a try.

What a lovely meal we had tonight. We booked in for teatime and it was beautiful. 3 stone baked steaks, melted in the mouth. Then peach melba to finish. Perfect. Staff friendly and clean bright surroundings. Excellent quality well recommended.

Warm, welcoming pub. Lovely food and a really good range on offer. Dog friendly with a separate area for the dog lovers. Went with friends after a river walk, would happily go back with the family.

Fantastic food never lets you down. Low prices, with fantastic service you can not complain. Benjie and his wife have the place lovely, since the extension adding more tables also helps. If going peak time or on a weekend I suggest booking a table to avoid any disappointment.
