The Hideout Coffee House in Sunderland

Found this little coffee house very nice. Latte was lovely. They have realy nice scones. Tomorrow I will try a cheese scone. The people are very friendly. And it's a lovely little place. Dog friendly area.

Five stars everyday for this highly recommended coffee shop. Perfect location on the promenade overlooking the sea. Fast friendly service and good selection of teas coffees and hot drinks available. Didn't have a chance to try the cakes this time but will definitely be back soon.

This is always out goto place on our seafront walks. The coffee is always freshly made using their own blend of coffee beans and as we drink decaf it’s also very tasty which on a lot of the other places we’ve used on the seafront it either tastes like weak gravy or just like hot water. There is also a good selection of lovely cakes, scones and sandwiches and some specials. Everything we’ve had is so good and tasty. Then there’s the staff and they’re always friendly even when they are regularly rushed off their feet! Love the hideout

The best coffee on the promenade with a great range of snacks. They have their own brand of coffee which they retail. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always a cheery smile and a warm welcome here. Cheers guys, keep up the great work 🌝

Absolutely love stopping off at The Hideout for our coffees and hot chocolates on our daily walks.The staff are lovely and very friendly. They have very good covid measures in place with lots of hand sanitiser.Nice to hear the music on our approach and of course, the coffee is lovely!Thank you lovelies

Love the hideout, always lovely coffee and great range of food. I live 40 minutes away and always try to get down when I can. They've done brilliant at adapting to Covid guidelines to keep everyone safe. It's great for a takeaway coffee and a walk along the seafront.

My first visit and won't be the last, amazing little gem of a place. The food and drinks are superb, but the service is fantastic. My hubby managed to knock his drink flying and despite being busy, they helped me clean it all up properly and sorted him another drink out straight away. Did I mention this place is dog friendly too! Please keep up the good work, your place is wonderful. Love it. ♥️

Excellent little coffee shop on the promenade. Reasonably priced, great service, tasty food..

What a wonderful little coffee shop. It's small in size, but big in character. Beautifully furnished inside and tables outside with views of roker pier and the north sea. A good selection of hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly. I'll be coming back on a regular basis. Good for dog walkers, as it is dog friendly.
