Staff friendly and the food very tasty. Lots to choose from the menu. We have sausage & mash and chicken fajitas which were lovely

Was in yesterday for 2 mega mixed grills and 1 Sunday dinner and it was a massive disappointment, every pint we had was flat and warm, and the Sunday lunch was all frozen vegetables, ive seen better looking ready meals from job lot back in the day.The mixed grills were really nice though but this visit was the worst ever and I've had some bad ones, also, I feel the chef will get the blame for the Sunday dinner yet I dare bet he only orders what he's told to, therefore not his fault, the advert of the Sunday dinner speaks volumes as even that looks a disaster, gave 2 stars as the staff were spot on, need a great team like them when the place is managed by nothing

Worst food I've ever had mixed grill brought out everything burnt couldn't cut it with a steak knife sent it back might as well just hoyed my money in the bin absolutely disgusting and it used to a good food house definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone if that's the dross they serve up now

Food is nice Service abit slow 🐌 Took a while before getting food. Staff are great, very smiley ☺

I love having breakfast at this restaurant! and it has everything for that, the ambiance, the nice people and oh my god, those eggs and sausages !!!

Fish and chips were lovely. Well cooked and lovely light and crispy batter. Staff were lovely and helpful too.

Booked at short notice for a meal on 30/01/2022 at 5pm. Staff were excellent, very proficient and friendly. Food was good too. Will definitely be back. Thanks to staff for their good work.

I must say I have been very impressed with The Hollymere. Only been using it the last couple of weeks whilst staying in the area but what lovely people (staff and customers), every meal I have had has been superb and cooked just right. I travel the country a lot with my job and it’s rare to find somewhere where I want to visit every time I’m in a particular town but I feel I’ve found that with your establishment.

Well where do I start.. first of all no peppercorn sauce left for steak and it was only midday!So ordered fajita wrong choice when it arrived there was very little tasteless chicken on a mountain of onions which nobody wants but without them the skillet would have been empty also ordered chips which had to ask about to be told I would have re-order 🤔 why?? Not very good customer service from the server!!I'm just pleased i got meals with a 50% off voucher but would still say it was a waste of money, don't think I will be returning in a hurry.

Got X2 mealsBBQ hunters chicken grilled chicken topped with bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and BBQ sauce, with sweet potato fries. Sorry guys but it came out on a massive nest of onions more than anyone could eat. If you took the onions off the skillet there would be nothing there, chicken was tasty but very small.Mega mixed grill 5oz* rump steak, 7oz* gammon steak, grilled chicken fillet, two pork sausages and a fried free-range egg. Asked for steak to be medium to well done and arrived very well done. Rest of the meal was nice.Ordered everything on the app with drinks but drinks never arrived had to ask for them. Not sure why anyone would give a tip before the meal and drinks arrive. Tips are based on the service provided by the staff "after the meal". Why would I tip before hand, I would Rethink to this.
