The Oasis in Sunderland

Food was lovely as were the cocktails. Our waiter was fabulous. Only slight negative was the amount of time we waited for our food. Usually we are super patient but we had a show to see at the Empire and despite leaving plenty of time to get there we ended up being slightly late as we waited so long for our mains. I even asked them just to bring stuff out as soon as it was ready in the end and to bring the bill asap just to save some time but we still wound up being late. Would definitely go back as it was lovely, just not when I have something else planned afterward.

Absolutely disgraceful food. Mussel found in chicken pasta, good job my friend doesn't have a seafood allergy. Too many other issues to bother listing. The kind of place you would see on ramseys kitchen nightmares. Will never go there again. If possible to leave less than one star I would have

My son and daughter-in-law had just been married and decided to have a quiet evening meal with both sets of parents. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly. A great feel to this quaint little place. We shall return.

Had meal with 22 friends. Service was quick and all got served together. Food was hot and tasty. The staff were sooooo nice and friendly and attentive. Booked up again . Reasonably priced and good portions . Could not eat all mine so got doggy bag to take home. Looking forward to my lunch tomorrow!!!!

Great service, great food. Finally someone who understands how to cook a steak. Properly rested after cooking so that although rare, it doesn't bleed all over your plate. Definitely be back.

My my my... words can't express how much I love this place! Food is spectacular with amazing prices.. service was lovely with the very attentive and sweet old waiter.. i watched the other big table got served and the waiters&waitresses performing a live happy birthday song with tambourines and sing for them! The waiter is so gentleman and helps ladies with coats and pull out chairs for us ❤️❤️ definitely go here , and get a fabulous night !

Amazing (and I mean amazing!) food. They restaurant was not too big but big enough to cater for 7 of us with short notice. The staff were super friendly, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Definitely visiting again! Thank you!

Lovely food and service.

Absolutely amazing food and the staff went above and beyond. Managed to squeeze us in without booking this week despite them being pretty full due to eat out to help out scheme, yet kept safety and distancing procedures up. The staff was really friendly and helpful, we went twice this week and will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area
