The Place Cafe in Sunderland

A true 1 star establishment.. Rust stains in Bath. Door edge broken and door don't shut everytime without added assistance. Staff are friendly . However the carpark security needs updating. Had fuel stolen from my lorry on 2 separate nights.. Needles to say I will not be using this hotel again in the future.

Beautiful venue, fabulous soft background music, very attentive friendly, professional staff who treat you like Royalty, superb food, well priced, great choice of beverages and a lovely caring owner.Sunday lunch choices and quality, must be best in town, and a first rate private function house (Ive had 2 separate family parties and both were 5 star plus)Fabulous intergrated menu including halal, vegetarian, gluten free and slimming choices. Surely cant be beaten!! ❤️

I come here every week and they never cease to amaze me. So far I have had a very cheap English breakfast which tasted absolutely amazing. Then today I had a pork Sunday dinner which was mouth watering. The crackling was amazing and a on was everything else. The prices here are the best you can get and the waiting time is barely anything. Overall very impressed with this restaurant and will becoming regularly 🙂

Went hear with my parents, sister and her 2 children. It was a birthday present for my mother of myself. It was easy to arrange as was meant to go somewhere else but rang the day before and the staff rang me back to confirm the book. The staff are helpful friendly, polite and we got good service. Will be back again in the future. I can recommend this place.

Amazing food! The pulled pork wrap was amazing it melted in your mouth! Then we came for Sunday lunch with the family! Again the staff couldn't do enough! Coming back again soon xxx

A great place to meet with excellent meeting rooms. Cafe has a friendly atmosphere with great staff. Located in the hidden charm of Sunniside conservation area. A gem in the heart of Sunderland.
