The Wolsey in Sunderland

I really like the food and drinks here, but the customer service I received today was not good. I was spoken to in an abrupt way, and after today, I'm not going back.

Called In today for lunch the food was lovely The staff were very friendly and helpful

Unfortunately we had table booked for 9 people for my father in laws 80th birthday the place was very rowdy with football supporters, so that spoilt our celebrations, the food was lovely though

Lovely food, reasonably priced, and loads of real chips not the frozen rubbish that lots of places serve. Sunday lunch apparently lovely. Will certainly return.

Absolutely fantastic food, Me and the other half had our dinner there today I got a mixed grill and she had the Pork Baguette both were brilliant. Probably the best mixed grill I've had. Would recommend this place to anyone when comparing it to the other places in the area. Proper food.
