The Woodlands in Sunderland

Went at 7pm, on 18th June and bought 6 burgers (£35ish) from the gourmet burger company they put on in the car park. Was there 10-15 minutes whilst the guy made them.Just received a parking ticket from the car park for £100!I’ll be contacting the landlord to discuss

Not what it used to be... Shut a few nights a week. Little choice and almost always dead.Not really anyone's fault though. Ban smoking in pubs and then a 2 year Pandemic, what do you think would happen to a small village pub.

Best Sunday Roast!!The meat was perfectly cooked and plenty of it!! The veg and roast potatoes were delicious with home made Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy out of this world.Norhing as good as this in washington Thank you Deborah and staff.

Nice bar good play area for children, but no coffee for the non drinkers.

Lovely Sunday lunch for family birthday celebrations. 15 of us in total and meals were really lovely, especially the Yorkshire's! Really good portions and plenty of of meat and variety of vegetables. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Woodlands pub in Rickleton is quite spacious inside & outdoor seating for when weather is nice great for kids aswell as they have the soft play area for them
