Ho wah in Antrim

Went to this Chinese restaurant with family last Saturday evening. First visit. As t aware of its existence as I don't get back to Antrim much. Anyway it was the best Chinese I've ever eaten in. First and foremost the food was really flavourful and the service was excellent. They have done a lovely job of the decor also and the ambience is just right. Will go back without a doubt.

They do thee most beautiful chicken fried rice with gravy. Always my favourite. Staff are always friendly. Option of sitting in or taking away. Have been to birthday parties in here and they have always so accommodating.

Great food. Decent time for delivery. Just the very odd time on delivery we get rice thats been reheated. Other than that it would have been 5 stars.

Food was like mulch and inedible so much so the dog wouldn't even eat it. It went straight to the bin. The food standards need to look at that place food looked grey. Don't waste your money here.

This was my first time ordering from Ho Wah, i’m impressed 👌 The chicken curry had an absolute ton of really good chicken in there, the staff were really helpful & friendly, and it was delivered in no time at all - look forward to trying some more of your dishes 😋!!

Got a takeaway/delivery from this place and will never get again. The chicken in the "curry" was very rubbery and the "curry" was bland and watery. Also got a starter portion of salted chilli chicken which was extremely overpowering in flavour.....I think some of the spices in the salted chilli were supposed to be in the curry. Poor effort and not for me.

Love & enjoy going here for a wee lunchtime meal with my sons. Staff are lovely friendly very welcoming. Always been a good environment when we have been in. Not had to wait about seated & served very quickly too. The portions are huge but the food is delicious. Could eat their starters spring rolls forever definitely one to order & try out. My eldest is Gluten Free & they always always adapt his meal for him at no extra cost so we can all enjoy a family Chinese meal together. Love this place can't recommend iy high enough.

Considerate service. Family friendly. Clean facilities.Very tasty food. We ordered one round of soft drinks, 3 children's 2 course meals, and a set meal for two. Came to just under £65.Considering the quality and quantity that arrived with the great service it was well worth it.Thank you for a lovely evening.

Love this place. If you are unsure if you like Chinese try the lunch menu here. For 6.95 if my memory is right you get a 3 course meal and it is good to try something you normally wouldn't. Then when you take the other half for a.meal in the evening you can put your knowledge to good use. They also take card payments over £15.

We needed a nice quick meal after a day out and before we dropped off a member of our group to the airport. We chose the set menu for 4. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. They brought the food quickly. The starter selection was very tasty & generous. The main courses equally so. I'm glad we weren't all flying out that night as we had a lot of food still to take home! The meal was excellent value working out at £15.50 per person - and more than enough for a second meal out of it for 3!
