I couldn't fault this place and am so glad to have discovered it. The menu is varied with a choice to suit everyone, and the food itself was delicious to boot! The portion sizes were excellent and the staff attentive to our requests. The cocktails were also fab, and not a bad price either!

Always seen this place but had never eaten in it. We had the sharing starter wasn’t to bad apart from all of it was nearly deep fried and very greasy.I went for the steak and my wife had the sizzling chicken hers was a lot better than my steak was, I went for the sirloin steak as they didn’t do fillet steak but it wasn’t that good very chewy the champ wasn’t great and the sauce was extra £3.50 with the steak which was tasteless. It’s over priced for the quality of food, I eat out most weekends but I wouldn’t b back here in a hurry.

Food was good.Restaurant was quiet for a Friday night but possibly that was to do with Covid. It was a little cold where we were seated. There was a fireplace nearby and it would have been nice if it had been lit on a cold January night.Staff were helpful

Myself and my family eat here frequently, the food is excellent however the portions are always not enough. I had the burger and chips, and it was the tiniest bowl containing 10 chips. Likewise the carbonara is very good but much too small. The only thing of adequate size is the turkey dinner. Probably won't be back as a result of these different occasions

Food was very good but service was quite slow. I had the chicken gushons, which were fantastic. Someone has the vegetable soup and another had the chicken curry. They said theirs was really good as well. Would absolutely go back.

Lovely meal here. Very fast efficient service and food cooked to perfection. Decent sized portions. I'd definitely recommend. Lovely atmosphere and background music especially for midweek

As soon as our party walked in the service was great. Food was amazing and did not wait to long to eat. Staff was not in your face which was a bonus and which I had time to enjoy my meal.

Food was really good 3 course + drinks £85.Every course hit the spot.Do not judge on the outside of the building, once you come through the doors and up the wooden stairs totally different beautiful big beam. The restaurant matches the food. Enjoy

Went for drinks and food here at the weekend but unfortunately we were very disappointed with our experience. Although the cocktails were very good and reasonably priced, we were very disappointed with the service. We asked for a drinks menu and were greeted with an eye roll and given one drinks menu for our table of 6 after this we were left much to our own devices and had to chase for service throughout. I hope that our next visit will be better as the service really let them down on this occasion.
