Marks and Spencer Cafe in Ballymena

I go to the Fairhill store every Saturday as the range of food is much wider than the Coleraine store however I’m horrified at the hygiene standards. The café upstairs always has dirty tables, this I can deal with, I can wipe a table but the bakery downstairs fills me with horror! Every week I see the staff put out the fresh cakes etc and lift them with their hands, no gloves, no tongs!!! Oh my goodness never again will I buy a pack if doughnuts that have been packed by dirty fingers!! Sorry but this needs addressed and soon please. I’m not even going to mention the dirty toilets.

Went in-store Friday lunch time wish I had got the ladies on changing rooms names they where so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again ladies for your help.

My hubby and I visited the cafe in M&S Ballymena today .We were very disappointed with service ,we had a ham&cheese toastie that was priced 4 95 but at till it was 5 35 and when I queried it was told that nobody from the top had changed the price label.🤔😩Then I asked could I have my free mince pie as was promised as a card holder but sorry we have none left .Then went to get a napkin none left either.Really disappointed for aM&S store as the service is usually impeccable .

I was horrified to see the number of staff in Ballymena branch,not wearing masks. When my husband questioned a supervisor, she tried to make the excuse that these staff were exempt. If that is the case,they must emply a lot of sick people. It did not feel like a safe environment to shop in.

I had to return an item on Friday and the staff member I dealt with Joanne was very friendly and was able to process my return and order the new item very quickly. Thank you

My mother lost her balance and had a fall yesterday in M&S and fractured her hip. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff there, especially Ben (first aider), Lyndsey (manageress) and Karen. They were fantastic with my mum and myself. We had a long wait for an ambulance, they stayed with us the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. They made my mum as comfortable as possible and kept in regular contact with the ambulance service. Thank you all!

Writing on behalf of my mother as she was in a couple of days ago and was over the moon with the customer service!Was greated with open arms by the staff and helped around the store with her shopping when she was struggling to find certain items she neededTo top it off, one of the staff working offered to help her to the car with her bags when she was struggling to carry them out of the store.she never caught his name but said he was a taller lad with a small tattoo on his neck and wanted to thank him again, she's been so pleased about the experience and wanted me to let people know about it somehow!

Absolutely lovely staff. I don't know how M& S Ballymena recruit but they are just getting it really right for their customers particularly in the current pandemic. Their sales can be awesome!!!

Great staff in food hall. Claire is always very helpful and pleasant.
