Deeeeerelicious .... Been coming here for several years !!! Best chippy in town!!

Food is really good with lovely fresh fish cooked to its golden brown and crispy. Would give 5 stars except for the dining in area which seems to be always cold to sit in. Could the partitions maybe be raised to ceiling height as the draught sucks between both doors right across this area?

Last week got fish supper from Maureen’s . The chips must been lying in chip pan for ages as so hard and brown we had to dump them and the fish was all dried up . At the price you would like to get a nice fish supper . This has happened couple of times but last week was the worst . When we went to get them their weren’t any customers in their shop which would explain we got the dried up left overs . Definitely won’t be back and have actually heard of few people not going back .

Best fish & chips in town. As the saying goes, as cheap as chips for the lunch time special although I would buy at normal price.

Very tasty lunch we had in here at the weekend. Very busy but thats a good sign.

I went in looking for a nice Cheeseburger once I spotted the well displayed over-head Menu I upgraded to a bacon& cheese ... My oh My it was perfect cooked and full of beef goodness I must get back and Try out his unique " Red eye Fingers " Well done to this Owner i was well impressed

Food not great, before it was nice,must changed their dripping. Fish sogy because needing cardboard boxes not wrapping paper when taking out food not the warmest. Staff friendly and very clean sitting area too.

My regular haunt for Friday night Fish 'n' Chips. Price is ok, and you get a large portion! Absolutely wonderful chips and fish, especially with gravy!
