The Grouse in Ballymena

This was a good experience, the servers were well timed and the food and drink didn’t take long to arrive, I had the pan seared duck which could do with something more tart to balance the plate better but overall was a nice establishmentThe drinks were very nice we had cocktails and they were very well priced

i was well happy with everything my first time in here had the chicken goujons chips salad and garlic mayo good size portions only waited 10 minutes and beer was very good staff very pleasant well adhering to covid pass checks well done. nice pleasant feel to the place only one slight down point no beer available of my 1st choice but 2nd choice a good pint would be happy to go here again if in Ballymena.

Lovely food lovely staff. Nice ambience. Love the way the place is set out. Able to have a wee quiet corner for 2 or a full family sit together. Very cosy

Happened to be in Ballymena for first time in a while . Stopped in at the grouse by chance . Food was delicious staff friendly and attentive in a classy country style bar setting great pint of Guinness to boot really enjoyed it and would definitely go back if I get the chance D.P

Just had a lovely lunch this afternoon, cannot stress enough how nice this restaurant is. I live in Liverpool and every time im home we head to the grouse. Couldn't decide what we wanted today so we got a few starters, chicken wings, garlic sourdough, salt and chilli chicken and fries. Every bit of it was fab especially the chicken wings per photo below 😍😍😍 wanted the muscles which I had last time but unfortunately they are only a special now a few times a month, if your lucky enough to be in on a day they have them on the menu I recommend you give them a go. Staff very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. 5 star x

The best cocktails in Ballymena! The food is always fantastic and the staff are really friendly. Great menu with plenty of good vegetarian and vegan options. Brilliant selection of cocktails and drinks including a long list of gins. Would highly recommend.

Great location and parking beside. Beautiful decor and delicious food. Staff are always friendly. Great safety precautions for coronavirus in place and spotless clean.

Very disappointed...... had creamy chilli chicken and pasta ...... had lumps of fat from bacon, hoards of bacon and bits plus gammon...... worst of all, no mention of that in the menu. Also, incredibly salty. Avoid if you are sensitive to sodium.My daughter ordered the 8oz steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms.... well, the steak was pretty good, no complaints. Raw and slightly warmed mushroom and the onions were soggy & oily. Nice place, poor food. If you're in the area, avoid this one as there are much better places in town to eat.

Menu looks great, settled on the burger and it was spot on with a generous portion of fries. Wish we were in the area for longer to try some of the other options.Girlfriend had the potato gnochi and thoroughly enjoyed it also.Good selection of food and drink options with quick friendly service.
