Not the best breakfast of my life, but absolutely one of the most perfect. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked the soda and pumpkin breads were delicious new items I'd never had before. And the coffee was great. Also enjoyed the coconut cheese square I had with tea to finish the meal.

Absolutely delicious scones fresh from the oven! Coffee and tea was also great! Very friendly staff, highly recommend a stop by!

What a gem with a view out into the countryside! Its spotlessly clean and the surrounding tables were cleared almost immediately. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The food was tasty, well presented and piping hot, with a good range of choice, a pensioner's selection on the menu, and all reasonably priced. Although close to the road, we could not hear any traffic from inside.

Have eaten in here a few times now and have been very pleased, staff are always nice and very good with the kid's. Prices are very reasonable and has a very homely feel about it. They always have a few specials on the board. Worth a visit even if it is for a tea or coffee.

We were out for a drive and came across The misty burn. Thought lets stop 4 tea a little black door takes you into a magic world of nice people & freshly made food. So a very large slice of lemon meringue and apple pie ended up on our table. This was pure heaven to my taste buds. The lovely tea washed it down treat. Oh yea forgot i had some icecream which was beautiful. The nice staff were so pleasant and helpful. Clearly a family business just si homely. And a little shop next door which i will visit next time. Ok thats an excuse to get more tea and pie. So take a little drive out of the city and see what little gems are hiding on those county roads. Thks to all at The Misty Burn.
