Wild Duck Inn in Ballymena

Lovely roast dinner but appalling service. We’re in 2hrs for the meal, no one else really in. Our party was placed in a corner and staff regularly ignored us. Even stacking dinner plates up on the table was not enough to make them come to collect. Really wanted dessert but by the time they came with menu it was too late. Was glad I didn’t get one in the end as the other relatives I was with got cold sponge and custard and another one paid for full portion who got what looked like the other half of another person’s half portion as they were the same size. Have had lovely meals here over the years before but this was a real put off.

Helpful friendly staff. My choice Roast Beef cooked to perfection and my friends Curry with Houllimi very good.

Excellent food and excellent service. Our group of six was well looked after.

Have eaten at the Wild duck several times - always polite service and always clean plates. I then had my wedding at the venue and was Very happy with the quality of the offering, the price, and the stress free approach with staff, who made the whole thing very simple - a massive bonus when planning a big day. Guests all mentioned the quality of the food and how amazing the main hall was. Would reccommend to anyone without hesitation.

A massive thank you to Shay and all the staff for all their help and hard work at my Granddaughter's engagement party last night. Despite having 2 other parties in nothing was to much trouble An excellent spot and would recommend it to anyone

Absolutely unreal venue for a wedding, me and my recently got married here and from booking it till the day of the wedding Eileen just made everything so easy, she's a true professional, I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about booking here as a wedding venue, the food is amazing and the staff are so helpful.

We thought it was closed but very glad we went around the back to check! We got two lasagnes off the lunch menu and, not only did they taste great, but the portions were great. Actually too great, as it was hard work getting back into the kayaks to do the next 7 miles! Good service too.

Great Food, very friendly and helpful Staff. Very Professional. Also was at a family wedding and the food and service was unbelievable, highly recommend you call in.
