Harmony Hill Country House Restaurant in Ballymoney

An oasis of old world charm in unassuming Ballinamore outside Ballymoney. This rambling cottage is totally charming and huge. There were 10 of us, but it could easily have held 20. Brilliant drawing rooms to sit in (complete with grand piano for a sing along), a fantastic well equipped kitchen ( it used to have a restaurant) and plenty of loos (even if we couldn't find the lights for the one near the kitchen until the eve of our departure.)The wall panels in the front hall tell the fascinating history of the place. The garden is really a series of glades intersperced with thickets leading down to the old mill. What a marvel it would be for children in summertime! Heating seemed good though to be fair it wasn't that cold for early October outside. Our bathroom was good with a power shower which I imagine worked well if you were more familiar with power shower controls, which I wasn't. It was fun trying to work it out anyway. This place is well worth the money if you have a large group.

Absolutely fabulous!!! A large amazing self catering period house with large rooms..beautifully furnished in the old style, secret doors, small bar room and unique bedrooms. There are lovely dining areas as it used to be a restaurant and large kitchen. Old open fires in all rooms and set in lovely private woodland surroundings. Veranda area outside the house with lovely views. Great for large party of people.

Place was freezing, as rooms are massive and radiators are for normal sized rooms.Some of the fires could not be lit as there was no draw from the chimneys.Gas supply ran out and was not replaced.On the plus side, they have a resident cat who's gorgeous.Please invest in a better brush for him as he loves getting groomed.A big thank you to the staff who returned items I had left behind.I will make a donation to cats protection as no payment was asked for the postage.Think this place would of been much more enjoyable if the weather hadn't been so cold.

Great place to rent out. Utterly unique. Good pillows!

Owner operators were awesome. Rooms were lovely. We had a family suite, 2 story...it was awesome...right out of a fairy tale. Bed was firm but comfy..sheets and blankets soft and warm. Water pressure was great. Took a while for water to heat up but once it did watch out!! The food here is terrific ...breakfast divine! Would come back again and again.....

Lovely spot in Balnamore outside Ballymoney. Quaint and historical old house now used as a licensed B&B. Lovely gardens outside. Really recommend the pork and calvados sauce for dinner.

Old, quirky house. Plenty of room for a big family.

Great food and service. Wonderful atmosphere and decor.
