Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Great setting in the main street Ballymoney. Doesn't look much from outside but it's a tardis. Been a few times and never disappointed. Friendly staff who are menu educated. Great craic all round. Decent price for very good quality food and drink. Get booked to avoid disappointment.

The best restaurant experience I've had in years. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and best of all, amazing tasty food. My vegan penne allá rústica was so full of flavour and the portion size was enough for the hungriest person. My daughter is quite fussy and didn't eat her pizza, so the owner said he wouldn't charge for it, which was a nice gesture. We left a decent tip for the amazing service and asked the staff to compliment the chef too. My new favourite restaurant. Almost forgot to mention the delicious cocktails me and my wife had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I hate leaving bad reviews but I was bitterly disappointed on our visit. We had our table cancelled during the Christmas week as they had staff shortages,, completely understandable. I then rang to book our table and was on hold for 18 minutes.. I hung up but to be fair the girl did ring me back. We had a table booked for 6.30. We had heard reports of slow service so decided we would opt for main course only so we wouldn't be out for hours. We received our meal at 7.40. 1 waitress delivering 9 main courses followed by the side orders So from the 1st main course was set down till we recieved all our meals took almost 10 minutes. I ordered a kids meal for my daughter, it arrived on a side plate. No drink included and when I asked for a garlic mayo dip for the goujons I was charged £1.50... most places a dip with goujons is standard..On the plus side, it's very nicely decorated and staff are very pleasant, my duck was delicious but I had it eaten before my side arrived as it was getting cold.... so unfortunately on this occasion the lows certainly outweigh the highs.I'm not sure I would be in a hurry back.

Food was the best I have had, only criticism I would have is it is a bit too bright inside for my liking. Whilst there I heard someone else saying the same. Other than that would recommend to anyone. Food was delicious, well presented and hot. Live music was great.

Brilliant food, beautifully presented. Fabulous veggie and vegan options. Would be 5 stars but for the very slow service, almost 3 hours for Sunday 3 course lunch...Will definitely be back, hopefully they will sort out their service issues.

My family and I used to eat here regularly when it was Molly's so we wanted to see what The Holestone experience was like. The food was absolutely delicious. Packed full of flavour, plentiful and just thoroughly enjoyable. I ordered the pasta and had a strawberry margarita with it which was lovely and refreshing. My husband opted for the burger and chips and thought it was all really tasty. The service was top notch, particularly the waitress who took us to our table and brought the drinks etc. She was super friendly and helpful. There were a few downsides for us. The atmosphere is very stilted now, the music we encountered as we entered was just very loud. My husband and I could hardly hear each other talking. The back room where everyone was placed is a little cramped and dark. The lighting is dull which adds to the overall lack of ambience. The other downside is the price list. It's definitely much more expensive than a town like Ballymoney is used to. One cocktail was £8.50 whereas before it was £5 or two for £8 (as Molly's). I understand it's a totally different business now but customers will be hard pressed to pay these kinds of prices when they're used to something else cheaper. My husband and I agreed we would return because the food is incredible but we felt that it wasn't a great place to continue to take our children. Perhaps for a date night on our own. It is distinctively more fancy and subdued than the previous establishment.

Great variety of tasty options for vegans. Nice staff. A bit pricey.

Ordered some food for a change to our normal Saturday night takeaway. Vegan options for the wife. I don't think I've ever had tacos as good in my life! Unreal! We will be back. The cauliflower wings amazing too. I regret not getting a dessert as the other food was so good.
