Average chippy, portions are small compared to their competitors @ Station road Larne or Dillinger's (Wilson's) in Victoria, Carrick.

Got goujons and they were not good. Practically no batter on them as it had slid off. Have had the fish and chips since and it was lovely.

I love this chip shop. The food is fantastic, the owners and staff are so friendly and helpfull. Lovely shop to go into. So clean. I was in yesterday for a battered sausage supper it wasn't too crowded but they had loads of phone orders. They are so quick and efficient. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JESS,S PLAICE , if your visiting the town or live lo ally. Thanks guys.

Out for a drive and a leisurely walk with furbabies and we called in for fish n chips. Would really recommend. Food was lovely. Very pleased. Will definitely call again.

My partner and I had been looking for a fish and chips place around the Belfast area, or that would be a bit farther out, but worth the drive. We had tried a few closer ones and been disappointed, so we tried here as we both had heard positive reviews about it. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by the lady taking the order and the chef with a smile on their faces, and they gave me time to think comfortably. I ordered the fish supper, a pastie, a battered burger, and some onion rings. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, and the fish still glistening and tasty. The pastie, I can honestly say was one of the best I have ever tasted, with a perfect batter to filling ratio. I personally don't like battered burgers, but my boyfriend was more than happy with it, so I'll take his word for it! Finally, the onion rings were nice thick rings of onion, instead of thin rings that would disappear within the batter. Overall, will definitely be back!!

I came to my local chip shop with high expectations.A usual warm and friendly whitehead atmosphere was what I was expecting but as I walked into the cold and depressing chip shop I heard thunder strike as the tears of children could be heard splashing against the dirty floor.as a vegan I ordered a portion chips as the person at the counter aggressively slammed the oily fried potatoes onto the cheap metallic counter.I took a seat by the fly covered window as I opened my box of chips a skeleton like teenage boy gave me a dirty look. my sea blue eyes peered down at my portion of chips....despair....they looked like sadness and divorce mixed together... never come here.also there was outdated news papers on the tables very uncomfortable
