Ownies Bar in Carrickfergus

Nice cosy feel to the upstairs dining area. Always get a good meal here can not fault it. I like the fact that the kids meals come inclusive of a drink and ice cream dessert. I have always pre-booked so I don't know what their walk available is like.

Nice food. Some real ale and nice location. All in all good one. Second visit for lunch. Good food as before friendly and excellent service from dark haired friendly waitress in particular. Earned a 5th star.

Absolutely fantastic doggy Christmas Dinner day.So well organised and santa arrived with gifts for the furbies plus a photo with him .each dog had their paw dipped on an ink pad and then the paw placed on the front of a Christmas card such a nice touch.The service and food were 1st class and we all enjoyed our time at ownies

Took my fiancee here for her birthday dinner. She is very allergic to nuts and gluten, luckily ownies has an allergen friendly menu and the server asked about this before taking her order. Absolutely amazing food, extremely well priced and lovely staff. Will 100% be back

Lovely food as always, nice cosy atmosphere as the fire was lit and great fry that I couldn't finish....eyes bigger than my belly as granny would have said! Always nice cocktails as well!

A lovely place with an open fire and a great atmosphere. I had lunch and the crowd was of mixed generations inside. The décor is fantastic and very cosy , there's no rushing you off the table. The pavlova was the best I have tasted in awhile.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Main dishes were nice, and were good value for the portions. Only issue would've been with the desserts. The so called s'mores brownie was anything but; it was a dry, crumbly piece of cake with a lump of hardened marshmallow on top. Wasn't even warm when it was served, wouldn't order again.

Serving food and drink with social distancing rules in place. Great place to pop in. We had Ulster fry's and coffee. Nice atmosphere, great service. Stop in for breakfast, say hi for me. :)

Good attentive service, and lovely food. This is a clean and well managed pub and restaurant which offers nice meals for the whole family.Well worth a visit while in Carrickfergus.

Ownies has it all! Great nights out with fantastic live entertainment, yummy reasonably priced cocktails, and the food is also amazing! We recently celebrated Father's Day here and ate off the Early Bird menu. Every main you see in my pictures was only £8! Excellent price for great quality food. Friendly staff that provide a speedy service. They even allow dogs! Couldn't ask for more. Very happy with our Ownies experience!
