Papa Browns Grill in Carrickfergus

Went at around 3.30 on a rainy Saturday afternoon, bit not too busy. Fantastic service, girls serving were more than helpful, friendly, chatty, above and beyond on our first visit with family. Food was excellent, prompt and generous portions, will definitely be back!

Didn't have a booking, still managed to find us a table in a very short time even though it was busy. Staff are very nice, food was served in a timely manner and was good quality food also. Worth every penny, would happily go back.

Very impressive establishment. Well decorated, friendly staff, unbelievably quick service, good choice of food, quality of food amazing and nice atmosphere. What's not to like!

Our food was delicious and the staff were helpful and attentive. The only thing that lets it down was the lack of atmosphere within the restaurant. Compared to its sister restuarants, it felt very muted in spite of almost all tables being occupied, to the extent that it was quite uncomfortable to dine in.

Food was excellent! But...Not too impressed with the respect to customers though.I had a reservation, arrived 5 minutes before the time, they assigned a table to me.I went to the lavatory for less then 2 minutos. When I went back to my table, they had given the table to someone else ("who requested that table specifically") and not by mistake.I explained to the manager it would have been polite to have asked me first and I would , certainly, have agreed to swap.Really not impressed with the way they have done it. It was almost as if I did not exist.Not good. Expect more from a restaurant like Papa Browns. Have they forgotten their manners?At least the food was good. Very good.

The food was brilliant and so tasty. The staff were very helpful. The food didn't take long to be cooked and the the portion sizes were great. Would definitely come back again. 10/10

My sister and I went for lunch and were seated right away. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Portion sizes were really good for the price. Will definitely be back and 100% would recommend for something to eat in Carrickfergus

The interior is spacious and nicely decorated. It had a lovely laid back atmosphere. The breakfast I had was beautiful and plentiful and the staff were just wonderful. Would definitely be back the next time I'm up that direction.

We were here last nite for dinner it was amazing food an the service was excellent

Chicken strips and chilli mayo to start for us both followed by a meat lover (it looked that good I started eating it and nearly forgot to take a photo) and a beef sizzler non driver also had her favorite cocktail pina colada and as usual food and service was spot on it's a shame that now the eat out scheme has ended the crowd that was in on the last Monday we were there seems to have deserted the restaurants that need their support at this difficult time but as this is a great wee place let's hope they and all their staff carry-on to better things. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies a really great meal at a reasonable price
