Whistle Stop Cafe in Carrickfergus

This place has not updated on here...it has been shut for sometime so I'm told...pity as would be nice spot to eat after blackhead path dander but maybe it will reopen soon....

Dead slow and stop, Frist time in it, won't be rushing back.

Got a cappuccino to take away so we could walk by the sea. Really nice coffee and they are using the compostable cups and lids which is always a good thing

Nice spot in Whitehead, my favourite place there. Chicken Goujons lovely.

Excellent we had 2 frys belfast bfast and eggs benedict the food and service was excellent

Stopped yesterday, Thur 3rd Sept, after seeing great reviews and photos on Instagram. We had been on a trip to Belfast from Derry and decided to sidetrack to Carrickfergus & Whitehead on the way home. Lovely little modern cafe. Lovely decor & furnishings with a great Menu that's well priced. Sits directly opposite the Train Station tracks crossing. Our server was very pleasant and well mannered. The Club Sandwich & Chips were excellent. The Toasted Sourdough was also very good but was a tad short on Bacon. A minor complaint. Definitely pleased we stopped here and would recommend to others.

Was at the cafe today, had the best sandwich I've ever had out, I went for the caesar toasted sandwich with sourdough bread-would highly recommend it-really tasty, my husband had the brie & bacon panini which he loved too. Finished of with a lovely aero tray bake & caramel Latte 😋 we will certainly go back the next time I'm up that direction. Staff very friendly & following all social distancing rules too 👍

Had breakfast small fry. Food was served hot nice bright and clean decor tea was fresh brewed by friendly staff.

I had a small fry which was cooked to perfection and delicious. However the whole cafe smelt very strongly of cooking oil! It really put me off and they need to invest in an extraction system

We were in there yesterday and had a panini. Very nice it was. Very pleasant Lady serving and we got a top up on our team which is always a nice touch. Will be back.
