Costa in Coleraine

Called in yesterday (16th March 2022) to be embarrassed at the tills...apparently paper £20 notes are not legal tender at this Costa coffee ..I told them that they are legal until 30th September 2022 but they refused to take it...I was left looking through my bag to gather up enough money to pay for my coffee...it might be an idea to have signs up stating that they don't take paper £20 notes to save others embarrassment!!!

Very spacious coffee shop. Used a gift voucher and enjoyed both coffee and a toasties. We were suitably refreshed to visit the other shops in Riverside Retail park

Very busy but queue moved quickly. Usual high standard of coffee and cakes

Nice spacious cafe. It was a slightly noisy but that probably reflects the day and time (Fri 2.30-4 approx) and obviously it's popularity. Even with it being busy it was also very clean which shows the dedication and management of staff to keep on top of those busier times. I had a caramel latte and it was one of the nicest I've had in a long time. I would definitely go back but maybe at a slightly quieter time. I would have gave 5 stars but I didn't try any food, so next I will and will rate accordingly.

Asked for a latte and got what tasted like strong black burnt coffee. One of the worst coffees ive had so far. Gutted as i love costa.

We ordered HOT chocolate and sadly only got warm therefore not 5 stars. In future will ask for EXTRA HOT.

Very good coffee but staff dour and unresponsive. Can’t smile , speak or generally be polite . No rapport with customers. Need lessons in how to deal with the public

My daughter and I had a lovely coffee and caramel Square. Good service and, friendly staff

As I'm not a coffee drinker it doesn't hold any great attraction, but there is a small but reliable choice of food and a pleasant enough, airy cafe area, though the view is exclusively of the shopping centre car park.
