Magherabuoy House Hotel in Coleraine

Room was fine. Everything you would need apart from WiFi only available when standing close to the door. Not ideal. Dinner was good. Well cooked and reasonably priced. Cooked breakfast was very small. At the price of the room I expected a bit more on the plate.

Service excellent, food also. Made to feel v welcome. The guest toilets need a bit of a revamp in main areas. Went to see a show there. Great setting.

A visit to Leona's tea room, it's been a wee while since our last visit, some changes moved into bistro area of hotel, more space which is a good thing, as we remembered good food, excellent service, highly recommend a visit

This is a lovely place, has a number of function rooms, also holds a carvery.They have a bistro and the food is to die for...its quiet and family friendly and has a bar.It holds a billiard/pool table and has a number of rooms available.The restaurant is called Dawsons bistro. The menu is wide ranged....I quite like the food here and never had a problem.They also serve scones and a variety of deserts and traybakes.100% recommend

Hotel was lovely and staff very friendly. Check in was easy and our room was easy to find. The rooms are big and great for a base to explore. The bistro is really convenient and the service was quick. The food is gorgeous and plentiful and the cocktail r great as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking a break away.

I did not stay at the hotel but dined in the restaurant on two occasions. Staff were immaculately dressed, friendly and efficient. Front of house manager was very pleasant and helpful. The food on both occasions was well presented ,well portioned and very tasty and food cooked to perfection. Will definitely book again.

Food was so disappointing. I ordered the butterfly chicken and it didn't even taste like chicken! Pepper sauce was thick and lumpy, didn't taste like pepper at all. Waiters and waitresses stared at us the entire time. Cocktails overflowed. Seating was awkward. Never coming back.

Although service was slow from reception until and including the payment of the bill the Lasagne with garlic fries was excellent. Large portions with good prices. I thought the Menu was traditional and unadventurous. Based on what I had it was worth the rating of 4. Certainly will return to try other parts of the menu.

Lovely hotel but staff are all very young. There are plenty of them.but they wander about not doing anything much. You have to keep reminding them of any request and everything is very slow. It was actually quite frustrating. There wasn't a huge choice on the menu and the food was very disappointing. I could have cooked it better myself to be honest. May be teething problems after being closed due to the pandemic though as we had never stayed here previously but they seriously need to up their game
