The Harbour Bistro in Coleraine

Fantastic steak and lamb. The fold was hot, the steak was not cooked exactly how I would have liked it but it was phenomenal anyway. I'm not a chef so perhaps cooking it a certain way really helps the flavour. Two complaints, firstly they offer unlimited chips, both of us are our chips and no extra were offered, don't feel you should have to ask. Secondly the fire alarm went off for about 3-5 minutes and the staff looked confused and unable to make a decision about evacuating or not. If it was a common occurrence and they knew it happed regularly then communicating that would have been great as awaiting potential death is a great mood killer.

Good food, not too badly priced

Been a while since we've been here due to lockdown, but worth the wait.Good selection on the menu, although only two vegetarian options. I highly recommend the cheese and spinach flan (it was topped with a huge handful of rocket so a side order of rocket and parmesan salad wasn't the best choice, although staff could've made me aware of that!) Other option was a beyond veggie burger.Hubby got the Arizona chicken which was as good as he remembered it to be. Garlic fries were dripping!!!Had a voucher which we thought we'd used, but hadn't realised there was 20% discount before 7pm, so we were able to add on a trio of desserts. Lemon meringue was more like a sponge cake, pavlova looked and tasted like strawberry cheesecake lol, and the banoffee was exactly how banoffee should be 👌Staff were super attentive and friendly.

Went as a group of 9 tonight and the service was fantastic. Ordered separately via QR code and all of the food arrived together very quickly. All the food was lovely, portions were big and the staff were very helpful.

Great place if you are in the market for steak!!! Became our benchmark for this a few years ago and time passes and their chefs change but the quality stays! Returning customers will be back again in a while for more!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Delicious food but waited 1hr longer than promised (40min) so really hungry by time it arrived.

Terrible from start finish. £120 for 5 people and it was direNot sure how it could have been worse.1) manager was ignorant and arrogant when challenged on service.2) myself my 4 year old son and dad left the table to go to the bathroom with a full round of drinks on our table. When we got back my wife and mother had been put off the table. MANAGER told us to take our drinks with us because another family was coming to the table.We weren't informed of time restrictions on the table when we were seated. We had been on the table 1 hour. Manager said we had to get off. My son who had a kids meal deal with main drink and dessert, neve got the chance to order a dessert which I had had paid for.Never will I set my foot over the door of any of the ramore group restaurants againMuch better service/food at many other North Coast restaurants with proper service and staff. It says a lot when the signs for recruiting for new staff says don't worry about experience. Clearly that goes for management to.

When we are back to Portrush we are Def coming back!! Food was served within minutes, super delicious, huge portions, staff was very quick and friendly, nothing was forgotten, main dish again super delicious, huge portions....and the desserts...I couldn't make up my mind!!! Best place I have while on Holidays!!

The Pub, Bistro and Gin Bar are all together, We grab a drink at the bar and meet Willie, to say hes a character is an understatement . We put are name in for a table and decided to wait in the Gin bar upstairs, nice staff had a great gin and tonic, that my wife drank most of. The restaurant is crowded, noisy and a little dated with an open kitchen. I loved it! The food was very good , so was the service and we sat right by the kitchen it was entertaining. Willie stop by during our meal to check on us. He said hes not the owner but want to make sure we were well taking care of. we were. Thanks
