The New York Grill Bar in Coleraine

Uncontactable. I got COVID 3 days before I was due to stay. I tried to contact the hotel via phone multiple times, I also emailed them and sent them messages via booking.com to have the booking refunded due to my circumstances. They have been completely unresponsive to any form of contact from myself. Booking.com have also tried to contact them on my behalf for 3 days and still have had no response. Would not recommend this property at all. I have contacted citizen's advice and trading standards

I booked a room and stayed overnight the room was dirty there was hair in the bath stains in the carpets there was cleaning products left behind also the room the TV remote control doesn't work the best. There wasn't a member of staff to be seen. Bar or restaurant wasn't open. If I could have found a member off staff on I would not have stayed and asked for a full refund. Even sent a email ref this and got a reply to sorry I have passed these comments R.E. housekeeping onto Management.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Very friendly. We went through a wowcher off and it was very much worth the money. The only real let down was breakfast. We weren't informed it was a continental breakfast and to be honest it really wasn't great. The meal the night before though was excellent. Beautiful muscles to start and steak cooked to perfection for mains. Will definitely be making plans for a revisit.

Last Minute booking For 12 people on a busy Saturday. Neil was very helpful and accommodating. Ordering was by App, choice, presentation and service were excellent. Staff and lady in charge were fantastic.. recommend this hotel both as a base and to eat.

Amazing place food was so good great price's staff so lovely nothing a bother I will be back thank you for such a lovely evening

Staff make this place a lovely restaurant to go ,and have a fantastic meal,unfortunately don't have any photos of our meal but believe me it was delicious, a Sunday dinner and a lamb. Excellent location ,with some parking space, after the meal you guys can go for a stroll at the seaside.

Wasn't told when booking no restaurant no cooked breakfast!! Was told bar open at 6pm. But never happened no one there even on reception!! Brian the chef was a great help.

Amazing hotel and restaurant! Our room was fantastic and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was full of friendly and lively staff that knew their stuff when it came to wine and drinks. Wish the hot water in the room was a bit stronger. Otherwise, the hotel was amazing!

Was at your hotel for a meal this evening and must say that while the food was excellent the service did not match the food. While accepting that catering service can be impacted by COVID I was less than impressed with the food ordering and service app that was being used by your hotel. Needs further improvement in that you should not be passing the blame on to the customer for the errors within the app. Errors such as differing menus, inability to react to customers particular needs and rushing customers out because the service has not been in line with time allocated are just a few.It’s disapointing that the lack of reasonable service could not meet the same quality as the food that was served.

Cold, Soggy & MiserableMyself and my Husband booked a table for lunch on Saturday granted the weather wasn't great we decided to go anyway as it had stayed dry, quite cool but dry, our table was beside the door and we took a blanket for our legs as we expected a bit of a draft, the restaurant has a beautiful outside decking area with heaters lined along the ceiling and the view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, we had hoped to relax and enjoy the view with a nice meal and a few drinks. We ordered our food and drinks via the app which was very handy, very COVID friendly,.We expected with the decking being in a shaded area that the heaters would be on, but unfortunately there was only 2 out of around 6 or 7 I counted turned on and we could not feel the benefit, when the food arrived it was in cardboard boxes for take out and we were given wooden cutlery, the starter and main came together!! We both ordered muscles and we were very disappointed, the shells had broken and almost every mouthful had shell in it, as our mains had arrived with the starter in a cardboard box, this meant the food had good soggy by the time we were ready to eat it, we had ordered Fish & chips and the batter was soft rather that crisp, it really ruined the meal for us.Overall I understand it being the 1st weekend of opening and perhaps teething problem is to blame. Much improvement needed.
