Always enjoyed here but this time the food was not the same.1 member had gammon and chips. The gammon looked more like an end of bacon and had to be returned due to the extreme salt content. She ordered chicken goujons only to be told there was none. The rest of the party had long finished their meals before her replacement meal wasThe setting here is very nice but I think it will be sometime before we come backbrought down.I had a club sandwich. The bread was dry with very little filling.

Staff are lovely. Food functional quite pricey for what it is...acceptable vegan and vegetarian options on a seperate menu (also on the main menu too). 3 or 4 options of vegan mains so not too shabby. Nice views and ok chairs for comfort.

My husband and myself decided to dine here tonight as we had been out this afternoon, we're regular customers here, our meal was lovely, I had a 7oz gammon steak and chips, plus pineapple on the steak, my husband had Smothered Chicken with chips, beautiful meal, service was great as usual. I'd recommend Brewers Fayre to anyone.

No gluten free options on the menu. When asked if they had anything I was given tatty sheets of paper with all their food. I was told by server to get chips or a salad. I wanted a panini or sandwich. When I looked through and saw none was available the servers response was, oh well. Brilliant people skills, not.

Pleasant location with a view of Carrickfergus and friendly front of house staff. There is an issue, however both with food being served as described on the menu, as ordered and then sufficiently hot or warm to eat.

·

Usually like brewers for a cheap and cheerful meal, tonight I did not. Absolutely awful. Lucky had a voucher because I wouldn't paid full price. Service terrible, ordered drinks and they never appeared, when we asked, girl had lost order. Cheesy starters were burnt. Waited over an hour for overdone mains. Lots of items not available 😕 was just not an enjoyable meal at all which was disappointing as it was my sons birthday.

Warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Kids eat free which is excellent. A soft play area also available for the smaller children and my grandkids had an enjoyable time. So much so they didn't want to leave. Lunch menu looked good with special offers of two meals for the price of one. Excellent views of Carrickfergus castle and relaxing sea views. Plenty of free parking in close proximity to this venue.

Nice food and friendly staff.Due to Covid restrictions there is no self service for breakfast. But staff bring you anything you want.Stayed a few days and had the meal deal.Every meal was good. Not super food. But very good.Lovely views from the outdoor seating area.

Great location and good selection of well priced drinks. Outdoor area could be shown a little love, but the location has some great views over the harbour and castle.
