I had fantastic time withy family here. Loved the cozy environment and newly introduced chicken Amritsari, it's amazing and no words for the mouthwatering chicken and Monkfish shashlik... Thanks TAAJ management and staff... See you soon..

Again, the food was flawless.I eat out of the Taaj quite alot, and I have to say, I have yet to get a bad meal.Amazing staff who are so knowledgeable about the food, and always greet you with a smile.And the owner is a fantastic guy.I would highly recommend the Taaj.

Second time visiting here and it has improved so much. Loads of Veggie friendly options, staff offered to alter dishes to vegan also (the waitress made sure yoghurt and milk were removed from our sauce, the taste was still amazing). It is so hard to find nice vegetarian food in Magherafelt which is not a lasagne or burger, so I was so impressed with taaj's multiple interesting options. Can't wait to go back, I recommend the Veggie share platter if your going as a couple!

I had never been in an Indian restaurant before BUT this restaurant has changed my mind completely! Awesome food, great service, lovely decor. The restaurant has won awards for world cuisine and it is fully justified! I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Really poor food lacking flavour. I decided to give them a second chance, even spoke to them about my bad experience. Whilst they did a good job of pretending to value my feedback they didn't listen to a word I said. If you want Indian Food in Magherafelt then go to Iceland, Taaj is an affront to Indian cuisine.

We paid £27.00 for burned Nan bread a pathetic Doner kebab and the chicken in the jalfrezi was tough! Really disappointed after waiting a long time to try it. First and last time eating out of it! Feel robbed!

This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Their food is stunning and very tasty authentic Indian cuisine. The hand painted wall art on the walls upstairs is remarkable, very talented work. Warm cosy atmosphere. Went here on date night with my partner, arrived at 9.30pm and they were still serving food till 10pm which was so handy that time of night. Highly recommend the Royal buttered chicken for main with pilau rice. However on this occasion I had the Lamb Tikka Masala with Pilau rice. My partner Chicken Madras with Pilau rice. We had poppadoms with the dips to go with mains. Starters were onion bhaji's and chicken pakora. So tasty from start to finish. Did not order dessert cause we were too stuffed to fit anymore in lol. We will definitely be back again to try more. Thanks again.
