The food here is superb. It was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and our kid's. So good we went here 3 times on our holiday

Took the grandchildren on Wednesday evening for the steak night. The food was delicious, great friendly service. We booked for the following Wednesday night and have been encouraging family and friends to visit the Taphouse.10/10

Very popular even at lunchtime! So booking or getting there early is advised! Great friendly service and the only slight complaint would be that the skinny fries weren't crispy! Definitely worth a visit

Great quality of food and atmosphere, a well thought out menu which provides loads of choice. Only reason for not 5* is my steak came out closer to the well-done side when I ordered medium rare, and a friend was seriously unimpressed with the serving size of the duck option. Made for good laughs tho.

First time visiting the Taphouse and rather disappointed. Booked a table in November for the Christmas menu to treat my mum for Christmas, always heard good reviews and that it's always busy, hence why we booked in advance. On arrival - at 6.30 - we were told we were late and presumed weren't coming, explained we had booked the table for 6.30, and had actually rang a number of times beforehand to pre order our food and each phone call we confirmed the time of booking was 6.30 - our last phone call being the day before our booking which again was confirmed as being booked for 6.30. The server who welcomed us downstairs said it was no problem if we were happy enough to sit upstairs. Got upstairs to be greeted by who we assumed was the manager who immediately told us off that we were late, explained again we were not and had booked for 6.30, for her to tell us she was doing us a favour squeezing us in. Food was okay, not the standard we expected for all the ranting and raving we see for this particular restaurant - roasties and cocktail sausages were cold with our dinner, and the cookies for dessert were like a cheap bag of Tescos own cookies with some ice cream. We mentioned the roasties and cocktail sausages to, who we again assumed, was the manager. The only bonus with the food was the starters were lovely. We also had to ask for cutlery for our mains, and then try to find cutlery for our desserts as not a server in sight as again we weren't given any. I think if the service we had of received had of been a bit better, we could have settled with the food, but it was just a disappointing experience from the start - I don't think we will be back.I appreciate times are hard with covid - as I also work in hospitality - and especially on the run up to Christmas, but to be made out to be liars and late for our meal is disappointing and off-putting.

Great staff welcome was very good and the food did not disappoint. Will be back again. Worth the trip from Belfast
