Crooks, told me the wrong price twice (£4 for half a cup of tea, then £2.20) I had to do the maths for the wee girl (the board says £1.80 very clearly) This is clearly how they make tips by ripping customers off with their intentionally bad maths, they surely won't get tips by their good service. The wee girl was disgusted at me for daring to ask to be charged the advertised prices.Avoid if you can, or at least count up your correct price for your half cup of milky teaJoke of a place.

Stopped in after wife hiked from the rope bridges to Ballintoy. The food was not fancy but delicious. I had the Irish stew and husband had the champ with gravy, bacon and sausage. Liked how the baked goods were made fresh on site. It's not fine dining, but the service was good and food excellent. Also as the only restaurant down in the harbor they could really gouge customers but thought the prices were fair.

The kitchen/ cafe is superb and the food is excellent, but I have a BUT ... but, we had a milkshake served in a plastic single use mug with an unnecessary plastic single use lid served with a plastic single use straw! Not only that, but a tub of ice cream served in a single use tub with a single use plastic spoon.WHEN WILL caterers stop this? NOW IS THE TIME ... NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC! Sort it. No excuses.

A tiny establishment but with a homely ambiance, surrounded by a wonderful array of home made cakes and savouries. Service could not be better, nor the surrounding views. The height of the tourist season when in full swing will slow service down, but only to be expected and should not cause concern knowing that there are some super cakes to choose from, washed down with a cuppa! Enjoy!

Warm & busy. We had the Ulster Fry which was a great plateful, €6.95 including a pot of tea. The cakes, lemon meringue etc looked lovely, big portions if you've been walking. :-)

The fact that this little restaurant is thriving despite being the in the middle of nowhere is reason enough to go!Locals and tourist alike are welcome to enjoy food that you Mum would have cooked, only better. All that at very reasonable prices! My recommendation, after eating your meal, ask for a scone to take-away - you'll thank me when you are eating it 4h later
