The Armada Inn in Moyle

Discovered this restaurant when out for the day at Ballycastle and needed a place for dinner at short notice. Only 10mins from B'castle The Armada Inn squeezed 2 adults and 4 kids in at short notice on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent, the kids menu was fabulous (more than the usual goujons and chips). One child had the pizza which was amazing, all homemade with generous toppings. The staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again - well worth a trip.(PS It's also only 5 miles from The Dark Hedges - for anyone wanting to take a nosey there).

Fantastic meals!!!Staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked about different items on the menu.Our food was served piping hot, good sized portions and absolutely delicious.Prices of food and drink were good.Restaurant was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again.

We visited on a Saturday evening, it was quite quiet. Food was good for 4 in our group, not good for 1. Service was extremely slow took 45 mins for dinner to arrive, we didn’t have time to stay for dessert. Will not return.

What a great find! We can recommend The Armada Inn utterly. We spent a wonderful afternoon here with family. The waitress Amy was the most gracious host - she has a lovely manner and is so accommodating. We enjoyed a lunch with drinks, tea and homemade desserts, all of which was excellent value. Well-presented, hearty and so flavoursome. A gem on the County Antrim coast.

We popped in for a quick drink and a bite. Very well received by the lovely staff. Food was great and friendly service. Wish we could have stayed longer. Better than the very busy places in Ballycastle!

Just ordered meals for ten people, well so impressed , order correct and on time, brilliant for such a large order , food exceptional, restaurant quality to takeaway, large portions, steak, burgers, lasagne all absolutely divine, would 100% recommend and will definitely order again , thanks Armada

Just had an amazing meal at the armada, the honey chilli chicken was to die for. Staff so friendly, restaurant very clean. would highly recommend.

Always loved this places food and service I can only say brilliant but on Easter Sunday maybe because they were busy , they forgot 1 starter, Two of our dinners came then a few mins later the waitress lifted them said they weren’t ours when our own dinner came it was cold , we were not ask once if everything was ok , the one and only time I was so disappointed sorry been I always recommend this place it was always so good .
