We were working up quite an appetite while road tripping down the North Coast from Giants Causeway back to Belfast and decided to stop in Cushendun for lunch.Completely by chance, we walked into the Corner House. My friend recommended we try the seafood chowder since its a traditional Irish dish. Our food arrived quickly and a piping hot bowl filled to the brim was placed in front of each of us.Oh my word!!!I could not have been happier with our order, it was absolutely delicious! So rich and creamy, you could taste the fresh cream and quality ingredients, I was very impressed! Plus the massive chucks of salmon made me very happy :)

On a recent visit I ordered the chowder very powdered taste to it plus next to no sea food in it Found the small bowl very awkward to get my spoon into had to give up on it. My husbands meal came out on a small chopping board might look all fancy but virtually impossible to eat from it 2 stars is me being generous would not cone back and do not recommend it

Had a delicious lunch here.y husband had the burger and I had the cod in taco. As usual the food here is lovely, well prepared and presented. We try to get to this spot when we are staying near. The courtyard at the back is perfect for outside eating and they welcome dogs, we have two. The staff are lovely. It's a perfect place to stop and enjoy the peaceful ambience of Cushendun.

Stopped off for a spot of lunch during my visit to see the caves that was used for Game of Thrones, I had the seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious, as I was tucking away, I noticed they had really nice looking cakes on the counter, normally I wouldn’t have any dessert for lunch but those cakes looked irresistible and I had to have a piece with a coffee, I had the peanut butter cream cake which was amazing, and to top things off, the staff were super friendly and made me felt welcomed the moment I stepped inside, I think they were part of a family.I definitely recommend this place and will absolutely return next time I’m passing by Cushendun.

Excellent place with very friendly and family vibe. Shepperd's pie and apple pie were excellent. If I ever visit Cushendun again, I will have Shepperd's pie and coffee here again.
