The Smugglers Inn Restaurant in Moyle

Lovely place very clean staff friendly but the service in the dining room very slow but food is good

On a very windy and cold Wednesday after walking around the Giant's Causeway, we called into the Smugglers Inn for a warm lunch. My German son-in-law was fascinated with the history and atmosphere of the place. My daughter, on the other hand, appreciated the freshness, cooking and preparation of the food. I really do recommend this place to rest weary legs and muscles you didn't know you had before moving on to the next tourist attraction. Enjoy.

Used to just pop in for food, stayed 2 times and stayed 2 nights over nye. My we dog levi loves it, they can not do enough for you and lots of close by thing to do. The staff go out of there way with kindness, can't wait to bring my parents up.Its basic but clean decent food 👌 its a five from me x

We went to this place because it is dog friendly (BIG PLUS!). The wait staff were very nice and the beef and Guinness pie was superb! If you are in the region of the Giants Causeway, I would definitely recommend.

Took a few days out and stayed here for 3 nights. Nice warm family atmosphere and very pleasant staff. We had an evening meal on our first night and it was superb with generous helpings. It was an added bonus that you pay for the main course and get starters and dessert free.The location makes it easy to explore the North Coast and Bushmills itself.Our room looked right out on Portballantrae and across to Donegal.Would have no hesitation in booking again.

What an amazing place. I think one of the best places i been to in ireland. Lets start with location . Its set up in a great place and the service is amazing. Totally worth it and the food was actually worth it.. i highly recommend as the food is very good and has vegan and vegetarian friendly. I shall be back!

Clean and friendly, not luxury but not cheap either. Quite noisy late at night as there's a lovely little traditional bar built into the ground floor and drunk guests run around crashing into stuff. One couple even tried to break into our room, thank god we had two locks on the door.At dinner we never had a single waitress managing our table so when they lost our order we were left waiting for an hour without starters!The food was bland and forgettable - the ingredients were fine enough but the flavours were uninspired. I would go elsewhere for dinner next time.A few of the amenities seemed like they had seen better days, the bathrooms in the lobby were on the wrong side of quaint, more ill-considered and in need of an update. The cublicles had no door handles and the entrance opened into a hand dryer, or if you were unlucky, someone's back.The only redeeming quality was the breakfast. We turned up at 8, the first there, and gave the young staff quite a shock, they forgot to take one of our party's orders on a table of 3 and then gave me almond milk in my coffee which quicky curdled.

Excellent service, friendly atmosphere. Food was served up warm, very tasty. Would go back time and time again.

The staff are lovely. I love to watch the birds that nest outside fly in and out of their nest. Omg guys if your not vegetarian I suggest the Beef and Guinness pie. It is so good.

Always nice to be pleasantly surprised. The staff are fab and the menu has good variety to suit most tastes. We had a burger, chicken goujons and a kids meal. All cooked very well and really tasty. Chicken chips have changed my life and the French fried onions are some of the best. Would definitely recommend.
