Ordered a meal deal for two, good value for money.2 starters, garlic mushrooms and tandoori mixed starter, very tasty, real nice, thoroughly enjoyed them both.2 main, both chicken kormas with pilau rice.Rice was great, chicken was great, unfortunately were it went wrong is the korma sauce. I suspect that the particular batch of sauce made that night was made incorrectly (im not a chef this is just a guess). The korma sauce had no flavour of coconut nor was it sweet. It was incredibly salty, so much so that I suspect that maybe there was a mix up between sugar and salt (and im not even joking when I say that)We couldnt eat it. We ended up fishing the chicken out of the sauce and salvaging what we could.Again, I hope it was a simple mistake. But it was a let down to say the least.

Very tasty Indian dishes and good service

·

Ordered a Mixed Grill which cost £12.50 got a small tuppaware box of what tasted like microwaved meat. No value for money whatsoever. Will not be ordering from here again.

Despite living over 3 miles from here it's my go to takeaway for date night on the sofa. I usually click and collect to avoid waiting for delivery. Monkfish starter and Lamb Satkori are really delicious

The food was excellent and hot by the time it arivved I will be going back

Ordered a Chicken tikka and mixed kebab. The chicken tikka was very poor quality (70% inedible) and tasted more like fried chicken than tikka. The mixed kebab was 90% kebab meat. Had purchased here previously quantity and quality were 5 Star. Unfortunately following tonight's experience I will not be back and would not recommend.

Decided to give the Indian Ocean a miss and try this place on the recommendation of a friend. I'd also seen a number of positive reviews. The menu is quite extensive although they don't rate how hot the food is very well. The only difference between the ratings was spicy and hot. I like my Indian spicy but don't like it when all you can feel is the burn.My dish was described as spicy but I ended up drinking a pint and a half of water with it. We ordered a butter chicken that tasted like a korma. We had a side order of vegetable pakoras and discovered onion bhaji's when we got home. Although I'm only a minute or so away the naan bread was stone cold. The only positive was the jalfrezi that was ordered. So at least one of my party was satisfied with their main course.I'll definitely not be going back near this place.

Food here is fantastic!!!!!! Best currys in Newtownabbey by a long mile!!!!! Never once had a bad meal, always perfect, sadly tho sometimes the service is not so great, but worth it for the food at the end of the day. Wish the prices were slightly better as last price hike has stopped us getting as many orders as its simply too dear for a family take-away regularly
