My kid loves breakfast in an abandoned coach! You could see the modern real train and mini train departing from the train station while enjoying your food.

So sad. We have been going here for food for 9+ years for fabulous service and food.On walking in the girl behind the counter moaned about cooking since early in the morning. Since the previous experienced staff have moved on it is not the same place. Waited over 40 minutes for mediocre food and wasn’t that busy. Was missing a salad , and a drink for my daughter. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Perfect little eatery. Nice food .had the welsh tea .1 complaint no welsh butter .friendly happy staff with a sense of humour

I think they have a grit bin in there because my milkshake tasted like some super sonic powder for my washing machine.

·

bowl of chips and sandwich took 50 minutes, staff weren’t particularly friendly, a jacket potato that took 50 minutes was still frozen in the middle and the staff didn’t handle the situation well

Very rare to find somewhere where the food is consistent… this is it. Great value and happy staff. Our 9 year old daughter loves it .

From walking through the door it is lovely and traditional. Self seated service and loads of room. The way it is done is fantastic.Ordered some milkshakes which came slow but were so worth it. They were cold and thick like a milkshake should be.

Appalling Place....... when we first arrived we asked where the toilets were as my little fella was desparate. We were told to go over the bridge across the railway, through the station, past the shops, over the road and there we would find a toilet block. We were not warned about the 30p fee. We (my 7YO son and my mother who has mobility issue and I then trudged all the way back in the pouring rain. We then got back in and noticed a sign saying toilet for customer use only. So what a way to welcome someone who's going to pay your extortionate prices. The service was disgraceful. Staff were uninterested, and were more concerned with finding our non existent table number than dealing with our order. (There were only 2 other customers and they had been served. When the food did arrive "cutlery is on the rack over there" were the only words spoken. Bearing in mind we were sat in cramped, old style train seats which are difficult to get in and out of.The food mediocre. Apple pie with custard (slop with more slop) actually it tasted like Ambrosia tinned custard, and Chocholate Fudge Cake (more like dried out sponge cake with chocholate butter icing) both had some kind of dust over the top. Both overpriced at ÂŁ4.55 each.Definately one to avoid.

This is one of our favourite places to go. Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful place to visit and the buffet coach is a welcome spot to have a drink, snack or a meal. Great value. Amazing food and amazing service.

Not the cheapest place to eat but food is excellent, staff friendly and dining space very clean. Quite a nice place to stop and have a light snack or something more substantial. Good choice on the menu and a tempting variety of cakes on offer. Toilets available which were very clean on our visit.
