I live locally but usually go to Chester for my Italian food. Booked here for the first time for my wife's birthday and I was very impressed. Booking was easy and the food was great. 10 out of 10

My wife and I plus two kids (6 and 8) went to Llandudno for the weekend and ate here on the Saturday night.Serving staff were friendly, food was great and the overall ambience was good too. I had swordfish and vegetables, my wife had prawns, youngest had spaghetti Bolognese and the eldest had scampi and chips. No complaints from any of us. Would definitely return.

Excellent, genuine Italian food. A little out of the way, but worth finding. Obviously good quality ingredients, freshly prepared, well presented and tasty.

Awesome very tentative to detail. High quality food with authentic flavors. Asked for chilli in my pasta. Was not let down. Perfect decent prices 2l4 2 people starter was proper. Wife loved the soup. I lived the brusketta with olive and tomoto. In 5 years of coming to Llandudno. Never noticed this gem of a resteraunt. Right opposite travelodge. Thank u 4 wonderful meal.

Terrible service. You are not allowed to order what you want. They obligate you to order at least one main course for every adult. They call themselves Italian restaurant and you can’t have pizza between two people! You are not a worthy customer if you don’t leave enough money!

I typically only write reviews if a restaurant has been significantly above average or below standard.Casenova was very much above average! I arrived at around half 8 on a Saturday evening. This is quite late as most other Italian restaurants in Llandudno close around 9/9:30pm. It was busy, very busy with only two tables available. Me and my friend had a 5 minute wait while the waiters servered, took orders and cleaned the tables for us. This wasn't an issue as I hadn't booked so had no promise of an instant seat. The atmosphere was nice and the lighting fine (not too dim, but not blindingly bright). While I was waiting, I observed that a table of 1 person seemed to be waiting quite a while to have their order taken. This made me worry, for I was very hungry after a day of climbing Snowdon. Non-the-less, that table was catered to quickly, and so was ours. After swallowing the fact of country-wide rising beer costs (£5.90 ish for a 600ml bottle of Peroni), I ordered this and a Calzone - my friend chose the cabonara.Oh my, we're we pleased. Being the only calzone I have ever eaten, this has probably ruined my experience of future calzones. I tasted my friends cabonara, both he and I agreed it was spectacular. In summary: great atmosphere; great food; great (but expensive) choice of beer; though it seems like maybe 1 more waiter on the floor would ease the order times and work load.Thank you Casenova!

Great meal again. We have been going for many years and have never had a bad meal. You have to book to make sure you get a table as it is only a small place.

Booking was straightforward and staff were friendly. The restaurant may not look great from the outside but once inside it's a nice cosy atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and the vegetarian lasagna was really nice, however the carbonara had a lake of taste and quite a bit of oil in the sauce, despite this I would still recommend this place.

Called in without booking and they quickly prepared their last free table. The service couldn’t have been more polite or attentive. Good choice of reasonably priced wines and a varied menu. Our starters (whitebait and the Calamari)were spot on as were the mains (Mixed seafood tagliatelle and Sirloin steak). Everything was well cooked and presented. The restaurant was full but you wouldn’t have known as the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was prompt and friendly. We are so glad we found Casanova and will most definitely be back to try something new.
