Characters Old Curiosity Shop & Sandwich House in Conwy

Whenever we visit Llandudno we HAVE to visit Characters tea room. Aptly named!The friendly owner& staff are so welcoming! It’s an eclectic collection of furnishings and crockery… really different and cute! The Food is ALWAYS….top marks! Beautifully presented and good wholesome food. The SCOUSE Is always delicious but yesterday it wasn’t available … so had Pea & Ham soup absolutely delicious!! I followed with Prawn Marie rose sandwich and my husband had a Ploughman’s platter, how he ate it all after soup, I don’t know! So a most enjoyable visit yet again! THANK YOU!

Lovely Tea room, tasty scones and really nice tea, proper tea in a pot with a strainer.

Love the atmosphere here. And the meals are great for the price also. Best to book though, as during the holiday season it gets quite busy.

Just came here for afternoon tea and it was absolutely gorgeous, we had a 3 tier afternoon tea between two which included a pot of tea with a choice of sandwiches, crisps, scones and cake and the Turkish delight scone and lemon curd cake were absolutely amazing.

A lovely place had sandwiches coffee and cakes. Good portions and value for money.

A delicious afternoon tea in pretty surroundings and the staff are lovely. What more can anyone want? Fabulous

I visited with my Husband yesterday for Afternoon Tea and it was a lovely experience.We got full choice of sandwich fillings, scone flavour and cake (the carrot cake was unreal!) My husband was also able to order a hot chocolate instead of tea/coffee at no extra cost.The food arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious!The staff were very welcoming and friendly.I would highly recommend!

Went for afternoon tea with the better half!Lovely attentive staff members, two ladys, top floor and bottom floor no difference in setting both just as nice!Food was delicious and would definitely return!Thank you!

Really cosy atmosphere, hot good teapot and best scones i have tasted. Absolutly recommend, one in a kind in this town and area!
