Pleasant cafe, I had the smaller breakfast and husband had smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel , he said he enjoyed his, my breakfast though cooked well, I didn't like the sausage and the bacon had a smoked flavour again I don't like. Personal choice. I really wanted to order the Welsh rarebit but couldn't as it was breakfast time. I will definitely try again later in the day so I can get the rarebit. Service was good and quick.

Coffee cup lids dont fit so they leak all over your hand. We ordered two lattes with sugar, only one came with sugar and the staff had marked it on the lid with what appeared to be tip-ex (toxic) right near the hole you drink through. We were asked to wait outside while we waited for our coffees.

Really upset, I came this morning with my son, the caffe wasn’t busy at all and we choose a table which I thought will be nice for us but the waitress didn’t want us to sit there because she explained that the caffe will get busy… so I felt horrible. I had to move to the tiny table in the empty caffe?! So I’m not that right customer who can enjoy the spoils of their caffe? It was absolutely unreasonable and very upsetting. I’m sorry but I couldn’t stay a minute in that place. And I feel right to do it, because we got to another place where people are more customer oriented where I’m happy to spend my money!

We had lunch here, simple but tasty menu at a good price... and had a nice beer with the food too!The staff were also friendly and polite and the service was great!

Been here once before and it was really good. This time they excelled themselves. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown a table immediately. We had a pot of tea for 2 and I ordered whitebait and fries from the Specials Board and my other half had the Victoria sandwich cake. We shared both. Everything was excellent, even the jam in the cake tasted home made. The tea came in a pot alongside pot of hot water, the cups and saucers were bone china, which makes a big difference for tea. We managed to get 3 cups of tea each out of the potThe staff were very busy but calm, everyone knew what they were supposed to do and no-one was kept waiting, all customers were greeted warmly immediately upon entering. A lot of places could learn a lot about efficiency just by watching. The place was spotless and tables were cleaned well after each customer.Good value for money, we will return soon. 😊

Nice location, and good variety on the menu. Table was a bit small, could barely fit tea and a meal for two people! Quiche was a very odd texture, but tasty nonetheless. Lovely selection of cakes!

I love this cafe and gift shop although not been in for a while due to Covid and the lockdown. Usually have a cream tea are a afternoon tea would give 10 stars ⭐️out of 10.Go for a lovely walk after then go in the book shop near by. Hope to visit soon hopefully.

Lovely seaside cafe with really friendly and attentive staff. Food hit the spot for the whole of our group of 4, I had the veggie breakfast (pictured) which was very tasty and amazing value, would definitely come back!

My partner and I visited with our 9 month old baby on bank holiday Monday. We thought it would be full and was greeted by a lovely member of staff at the front door who advised there was room for us. Coast is surprisingly spacious, I say this because from outside it looks tiny but is like a TARDIS inside! Everywhere is layed out perfectly distanced from other customers and we felt safe. They were welcoming and accommodating asking if we needed a high chair for our son. We both had the rise and shine breakfast which was red hot, full of flavour and ingredients tasted fresh. Our little boy had a sandwich and fruit(which is great as alot of places include unhealthy food for children like crisps and biscuits etc). The Flat whites here are also delicious, strong and flavourful. Can't wait to come back again!

Our 1st visit here. Have wanted to go for a while. Absolutely gorgeous place. Was not disappointed. Had a Kinder Bueno hot chocolate. wow! 😍 it was amazing. We also had a red pepper and spinach lasagna and a beef and ale pie.And a rolo cake to finish. All were also absolutely gorgeous. Just fantastic food. Also really lovely friendly staff. Very welcoming. Even tho we live over 40 miles away. We’re be going back many times. Definitely worth the trip. Even on a cold windy day like we had. 😍
