Costa Coffee in Conwy

Very nice and rather quiet branch of Costa. The staff are always friendly and the music is good. Coffee quality can be variable. Internet tends to be slow. A big bonus is the windowsills of books you can browse through and buy for a donation to a local charity. I wish all coffee shops did this. Costa seem to be one of the more ethical of the chain coffee shops.

I visited yesterday when the Conwy Half Marathon was going on so it was ridiculously busy, but the staff we still friendly. The queue was long but they apologised for the wait and were making drinks as fast as anyone could possibly make them and they were still finding time to clear tables somehow.

Good and efficient service. From the outside it looks very small but actually it goes a long way back and has plenty of tables. They need to as well with so many places in town and so many tourists.

Great coffee shop. Good quality. Good prices. Good staff. Good disabled facilities. Highly recommended.

Hot chocolate was lovely but only one member of staff. It took 20 minutes to get served and I was 3rd in the queue.

Staff couldn't seem to understand our coffee orders! When we asked for a bag on the way out they again stuggled to understand we were requesting a bag then charged us for a paper bag! Food and coffees were fine though -can't say the same about the staff.

Nice Costa with friendly staff. This store is an Aladins cave - its bigger than you think & goes back for miles, so seats more people than it's small exterior would suggest. A nice addition to Conwy's long list of coffee shops.
