Enochs Fish Cafe in Conwy

I had not been to Enochs for a long time .I had high hopes as they were being cooked fresh for me & the staff I spoke to were very friendly & chatty.The board showing the menu up on the wall had writing so small I could not see it & had no idea what the cost of the items were.The fish & chips I had were probably the most expensive I've paid for in this area but I didn't mind as being freshly cooked I expected them to be lovely & worth paying a premium price for. Unfortunately this was not the case. On opening the paper both fish were small , thin & very greasy! The chips were nothing special either.There are far better quality to be had locally for less money so sorry Enochs I will not be returning.

Great chippy. Plenty of food choices and the food was well cooked and delicious. My partner said she thought it was the best fish and chips she'd ever had! Staff are friendly and helpful. It was so good we're thinking of eating there again on the way home from our holidays.

Delicious fish and chips. We were in Anglesey on a Monday and there was nowhere nearby that was still open as many places seem to close on a Monday around there. Google Maps informed us that this place was open til 8pm so we stopped off on our way home and weren’t disappointed.The chips were well cooked and weren’t oily at all, the curry sauce was a good consistency and the fish was really good there too and not too small. The place looked spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly too.

This is a delicious fish and chips. It's very difficult to say a fried fish is delicious. As their restaurant can achieve that. The battered fish has a flavour without source. The waiter is also very polite.

The food is great. Precisely, spicy fish strips are really good. The staff here is super friendly. It's quite close to the train station as well. Highly recommend.

Staff were very helpful and managed to find a table for us. They are always very busy so it is best to book ahead of time. I am not a big lover of batter but I can eat Enochs. This is because it is thin, properly cooked and tasty as well. Service was good as usual. Can thoroughly recommend.

Had some lovely fish chips here at Enochs. I did like the different options of curry, as it is hard to find a place with sweet curry. The menu was quite varied, with different types of fish and alternative meal options.

Ordered Fish, chips and peas and it was one of the best fish I have had in years. Normally I have to ask for the fish to be lightly battered but not this time it was just perfect and not greasy. The chips were nice and fluffy and peas well just peas. The shop was very clean a x tidy and the staff were happy and helpful.

Had a really first class sit down meal of Haddock and Chips from Enochs today, the batter was light & crispy and the fish was moist and perfectly cooked, excellant service too.

I went to this local "chippy" as it had many positive reviews. However on going and ordering food, fish, chips and a sausage I can only describe the person as at best surly and rude. He took my order and thankfully was served by a pleasant lady. On returning home a short walk away, I shared my meal with the kids. Although not the worst food I've eaten, the chips were above average, nicely crisp, the batter on the fish was soggy, the fish was average and the sausage was well below what I would expect of a highly priced establishment claiming to be a reputable establishment.There are many other fish and chip establishments in the local area you will get a better meal at a lower price, it's not rocket science
