Food was lovely, couldn't finish it all. Only downfall was parking.

Lovely little pubWe went for walk and then a pint as a treat.Food looked good, but we didnt eat.Beer was great, fair price.Pub itself was dog friendly, tidy and welcoming.

Located at the bottom of the Sychnant Pass, the hotel has a beautiful scenic view. Only a small car park but plenty of room on the road outside. Inside there is the bar area and a small restaurant where we were. There is a nice relaxed feeling. Service was 👍 good with friendly and helpful staff which was consistent throughout the evening. Prices are reasonable for food until you see the plentiful and hearty portions which make it good value. Our party ordered Thai fishcakes with chilli sauce. Two large tasty fishcakes with chunky chips. The steak pie was full of meat which you do not see often. The burger you could tell was homemade and substantial. The food was prepared and cooked well by the chef Paul. We all had a surprise birthday cake which the staff were happy to help serve as our dessert. We'll recommend for a meal and we will be returning in the future 😃 😊

Loved it there. Lovely inside - outside having a new roof put on but it's still open. The food was cooked well and tasted very good indeed. We will be back!

We didn't stay at the hotel,but we did visit for food & drinks one evening and the service was amazing, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious it all came out lovely and hot 🔥. Alot of drink choices if you like Gin🍸It has a real homely vibe and i really liked that charm.

We visited this pub yesterday evening after walking from the nearby campsite. We were made very welcome. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. 10/10 for the meals. We also enjoyed the location, the cider and the ambience. It was busy but was able to maintain a lovely chilled vibe in the sunshine. The staff were great and seemed to genuinely want to ensure we enjoyed our stay.Thoroughly recommended. Many thanks to all
