We had lunch here on a family trip. Delicious food, a great environment/aesthetic, and good service. I had their burger (sans lettuce and tomato), and the rhubarb pana cota for desert. 10/10 would eat there again.

I was delighted to hear that the Hayloft restaurant had reopened and I wasn't disappointed, the food, service and atmosphere was superb.

We had a fine lunch, attentive staff, nice setting and comfortable environment. Scallops to start and duck for main, two courses £20, three for £25. Hot plates and good service, not too rushed and thankfully not so much food you can't move. Well worth a visit and the farm shop below is a bonus.

My family of five adults and two children plus a baby went for a post-Christmas dinner . The log fire was most welcoming whilst we enjoyed our pre-dinner drinks and staff were very attentive to our needs..My grandson has food issues, as he has Asperger's syndrome. Consequently, the Festive menu did not contain many items which he was prepared to try. The staff were so helpful and adapted the menu to suit. They also provided an alternative 'kid's meal for the nine year old. Nothing was too much trouble! Water was provided for the baby's bottle too! When our meals arrived they were heavenly! The tasty starters whet our appetite for the main courses which we all found to be fantastic. There was plenty to chose from and although several of us tried different dishes we were all really pleased with our choices I can honestly say this was the best meal I have enjoyed in a long time! It was therefore most surprising when the bill was only similar to what we would pay in many other less- enjoyable local restaurants. I can honestly only sing the praises of the Hayloft. My thanks to the chef and staff for such a wonderful evening dinner.

Our second time here and we had Sunday lunch. Lamb for my wife and beef for myself. Both were very nice. Beef was cooked just as ordered. Desserts interesting with some unusual flavours in my chocolate pudding.
