Golden Bay in Conwy

After going to this chippy for years and never having a problem, i went today and the lady who served us was awful! She had a really bad attitude, was rolling her eyes at me. Then snatched the money from my partner's hand and then threw the change at him which fell on the floor. Although the food was ok I'll not be returning again!!

Disappointed over quality of food. Chicken tasted under cooked plus the sweet & sour pork piece's were hard. Prawn toast tasted bland & burnt. Other than that a waiting time for 15 mins wasn't too long as it was busy at 22.10 I won't going here again 👎

Lovely food. Good prices and great value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff who even brought the food out to me as I was struggling with my dog and bag! Defo recommend.

Been using this Chinese for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Food is lovely and always piping hot.Would definitely recommend.

Salt and pepper box was poorly portioned and chicken balls didn't taste well cooked. Also got my order incorrect. Wouldn't order the box again unfortunately. Disappointing. Called to say they forget some of my order but they just didn't write it down.

Thought I would try this Chippy ,👎👎👎👎👎, thumbs down from me, measly portions,the tray was about 75mm x 150 mm x 24mm deep 😖 & extortionate price for what you get ,won't be going back there in a rush.

This is a great chinese plus fish and chips shop, variety for all the family at really good prices, big portions too and most of all the food tastes amazing, lovely friendly staff as well xx

Fantastic chippy. A good balance of food options and the quality is good. Lovely fish, batter delicious but can become a little soggy on one side. Could be a downer for some but I like a mix of soft and crispy on my chippy chips. Lovely sausage and chips have a good balance between soft and crispy. As with every chippy, extra salt and vinegar is a must. The mix of chinese food is great as you have the best of both worlds available if some fancy Chinese and some English and the Chinese is also good.Portion sizes are fair for the money as this establishment is well priced and you can feed a young family of 4 for £15 very easily (chippy good). The Chinese portions are not large but again are not pricey vs some Chinese only takeaways and restaurants. Worth a visit if you're local or passing, easy tea and service times on visit are solid, only 5 to 10 minutes wait for food even when busy.

Food was really good, sweet and sour sauce was on the rich side for my taste but thats how they make it..
