Surprised by the quality of the food actually, been a while since I've had fish n chips this good!.

Always great chips. Lightly battered cod is fantastic and recommended.Good to see they've removed those stupid partitions inside the shop. Wasted expense for the owner.

I have been going here for years, even before the current owners took over the standard is high. The fish is fresh cooked this will mean a delay but worth the wait.The journey from where l live is worth the trip.

Popped in for an impromptu fish and chip stop after a trip to the beach. The place was busy but the friendly greeting stood out, the staff were all buzzing and happy. We ordered two cod and chips with gravy and weren't dissapointed. Cooked superbly, crumbly batter and fresh white fish inside, the chips were thick cut and not greasy and best of all the gravy was thick and tasted brilliant.Well done in a place full of chippy yours stood out.

Fantastic fish & chips so glad when they reopened after being closed due to pandemic.Highly recommend....do not hesitate in supporting "the best chippy" in town, you will not be disappointed. Trish & David

This was our second visit to this fish & chip shop , we had forgot where we had found this place so we drove around for a while until we found it !The fish and chips were lovely the first time round although the staff were not that welcoming but I put this down to caution as we had just come out of lock down .Today we had a ride out from Llangollen ....As I was placing my order for fish & chips a lady came in and politely asked how long her order would be as she had nipped in a shop while she had been waiting , she rudely responded ‘it’s not my fault you went to theShop ‘!I proceeded to order and paid then decided I would have an extra fish ...The young girl on the till could have killed me with just her look ...And how dare I even ask for a receipt !My partner waited outside for our food order as I was so annoyed by there attitudes.When he came back with our food he told me that another customer had enquired on the length of her order and was told that it was made up fresh and it’s only been cooking 5 mins.The star rating is given to the food only ...Even if I had given it full marks I would not ever return !Unacceptable attitudes.

Best chippy in Colwyn Bay ,if not on the North Wales Coast. Staff friendly and the fish +chips wonderful. Not greasy at all,perfectly cooked.
