Stayed here for the weekend lovely place just had a refurb mangement & staff very helpful nice friendly atmosphere really nice rooms spotless, food we had was fab lovely seating areas out side too to accommodate smokers and non smokers, dog friendly too will definitely be back Betws-y-coed beautiful place

Stayed for one night (May 2022). Didn't visit bar area, but the room was nice - recently refurbished en suite, with a very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly - no complaints and would happily go back.

Great place for party after though day on trails. Nice private róm for lunch or supper. Prices reasonable.

Absolutely Awful... stayed a couple of weeks ago and still getting over it. We feel so conned. All the previous negative reviews are not exaggerated. Food, accommodation and level of service! Terrible. To sum up 'Bail Hostel' Sorry Bail Hostels are clean, friendly and safe. This wasn't. Please please please keep clear.

Not bad hotel, just don't have parking, hotel are located near the main road so you will hear all noise during night or evening. Car park its 2min walk but cost £15 to leave your car during night. Sometimes hotel is cleaning, some places still left unclean. Breakfast same like everywhere English breakfast. But in the room had small bottles with shampoo, condition and body wash. Through your window in the main street you can enjoy to see vie views, 2min walk from main car park there is river with small waterfall.

So this is not a three star hotel! It’s little better than a backpack hostel (I know because I’ve stayed in one) no chambermaids no changing of linens. The room I saw advertised was certainly NOT what I encountered. The plug sockets are at floor level thus boiling the kettle is a very dangerous action if boil it whilst it sits on the furniture. For two days there was a stench at the lobby of god knows what 🤨 there are better BB literally down the road.

Friendly family run business. Nice pub food, basic warm accommodation. Excellent location, we had a view of the river from our family room.

If you're looking for a beergarden combo with good food, this is the place. Basic Wales kitchen but superbly prepared dishes. Got the beef burger and the meatpie. Delicious! Dogs and kids are welcome here. Nice atmosphere and a delightful interiour. External terras €€

I'd heard that the Betws y Coed area was a real ale desert so was very surprised to find a good selection of local beers on handpumps here. I has a well kept pint of Welsh pride. We also ate here and the food was well priced, excellent choice with good portions. Worth popping in if you're in the area

The host lady was very pleasant at check-in. She also serves the breakfast and the food and service were top notch.***Vegetarian and vegan friendly.She was also seen at the bar. Such a positive experience my friend and I had there!!! Good vibes and good people. This town was absolutely delightful.
