Hickory's Smokehouse in Conwy

Good family place to eat out, the food is tasty and you get huge portions. We had the slow cooked brisket which was delicious and there's a decent kids menu too. The staff were very friendly and there's a play area for kids. I'd advise booking as it was very busy when we went.

What à lovely place this is. Went for dinner while staying in Wales and definitely was impressed. The service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble, great atmosphere and truly wonderful food.

Great atmosphere and good food served by well trained staff. Not too over-Americanised if that makes sense (as some places are) but Hickory's has a good authentic American diner style vibe.

Great environment, but the building was lacking in accessibility - there are about 20 stairs to go down after the disabled parking spots and no parking on the ground level. Cracking meal, the food tasted great. The milkshake was decent and the brisket mac and cheese was a real standout. A little overpriced for what actually arrived and the service was nothing special.

Second visit, just as the first. Clean, today and friendly, approachable staff. The food was excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with tasty food. The standouts were the banoffee and biscoff milkshake and the banoffee and ice cream skillet, they were delicious. The savory food was good, the burgers that the 2 members of our party got were rated 7/10. The pulled pork I got was okay. For context, I’ve lived in the us since 2017 and have had some great BBQ and pulled pork there so comparatively I think the pulled pork here could be better. In particular, I think removing the beans and lathering the pork in a sweet BBQ sauce would improve this pork immensely. Having some of this sauce on the side for the chips would be a nice bonus. Additionally, the coleslaw that came with this pork was bland

Kind of knew what to expect as I’ve visited ta few other hickory’s restaurants.For a chained the quality of food is still unreal and honestly incomparable to most other restaurants.The food is a higher price point but really is worth while.

On a recommendation from a lovely lady running the shop at Welsh Mountain Zoo, we changed our usual eatery to hickory's. This place is 5*. Great place, excellent atmosphere, first class service from all staff. That is all before you get to see the menu! the range and quality of food and drink options is exceptional. Definitely the best steakhouse we have visited, bar none.Layout of the venue is well thought out. Both the interior and the exterior are well maintained, well presented, with little details making the venue that bit more special than other venues.They also cater for kids/toddlers/baby's with high chairs available on request, out door play area for the older kids, and dog friendly.Can't say enough, We will definitely be revisiting here again... Hopefully soon!

Family, kids and Dog Friendly. Mini soft play area, with a slide for kids and a rope walk. Prior reservation is best recommended as the place is quite busy due to its fame. We reached here reading all the good reviews on Tripadvisor & Google, but sadly we had to wait for 50 mins, which didn't kind much as we walked near the seaside. On our return, the visit was worth the wait and every moment spent here with 2 kids in our family was amazing. One of the most friendly staff you will find, and the food, scrumptious and bursting with flavours. Oh yeah, we could not get to the tasty dessert but the cocktails were really cool. Most recommended for anyone. Ambience was also very lively, indoor or outdoors. Best dining experience after a lovely day spent at the Beach.
